소개	아브라함이 우르를 떠나 가나안으로 감 - 여호와께서 하란에서 그에게 나타나심 - 모든 복음의 축복이 그의 자손에게 또 그의 자손을 통하여 모두에게 약속됨 - 그는 가나안으로 갔다가 애굽으로 감.	Abraham leaves Ur to go to Canaan—Jehovah appears to him at Haran—All gospel blessings are promised to his seed, and through his seed to all—He goes to Canaan, and on to Egypt.
아브 2:1	이제 주 하나님이 우르 땅에 기근을 심하게 하셨으므로 내 형제 하란이 죽었으나 나의 부친 데라는 갈대아인의 우르 땅에 여전히 사셨느니라.	NOW the Lord God caused the famine to wax sore in the land of Ur, insomuch that Haran, my brother, died; but Terah, my father, yet lived in the land of Ur, of the Chaldees.
아브 2:2	그리고 이렇게 되었나니, 나 아브라함은 사래를 아내로 맞이하였고 내 형제 나홀은 하란의 딸 밀가를 아내로 맞이하니라.	And it came to pass that I, Abraham, took Sarai to wife, and Nahor, my brother, took Milcah to wife, who was the daughter of Haran.
아브 2:3	이제 주께서 내게 이르시되, 아브라함아, 네 나라와 네 친척과 네 아버지의 집을 떠나 내가 네게 보여 줄 땅으로 가라 하시니라.	Now the Lord had said unto me: Abraham, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee.
아브 2:4	그러므로 나는 갈대아인의 우르 땅을 떠나 가나안 땅으로 들어갔더라. 그리고 나는 내 형제의 아들 롯과 그의 아내와 나의 아내 사래를 데리고 갔으며, 또한 나의 부친도 우리가 하란이라 이름한 땅으로 나를 따라오셨더라.	Therefore I left the land of Ur, of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and I took Lot, my brother’s son, and his wife, and Sarai my wife; and also my father followed after me, unto the land which we denominated Haran.
아브 2:5	그런데 기근이 심하지 않게 되었고 하란에 양 떼가 많으므로 나의 부친은 하란에 머물러 거기 거하셨으며, 나의 부친은 다시 우상 숭배로 돌이키셨으니, 그러므로 그는 하란에 계속 머무셨더라.	And the famine abated; and my father tarried in Haran and dwelt there, as there were many flocks in Haran; and my father turned again unto his idolatry, therefore he continued in Haran.
아브 2:6	그러나 나 아브라함과 내 형제의 아들 롯은 주께 기도하였고, 이에 주께서 내게 나타나사 내게 이르시되, 일어나 롯을 데리고 가라. 이는 내가 너를 하란에서 데리고 나가 타국 땅에서 내 이름을 받들 성역자가 되게 하기로 뜻을 정하였음이니, 네 뒤를 이을 네 자손이 나의 음성에 귀을 기울이면 나는 그 땅을 그들에게 영원한 소유로 주리라.	But I, Abraham, and Lot, my brother’s son, prayed unto the Lord, and the Lord appeared unto me, and said unto me: Arise, and take Lot with thee; for I have purposed to take thee away out of Haran, and to make of thee a minister to bear my name in a strange land which I will give unto thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession, when they hearken to my voice.
아브 2:7	대저 나는 주 네 하나님이니라. 나는 하늘에 거하며 땅은 내 발등상이라. 내가 내 손을 바다 위에 펴면 바다가 내 음성에 순종하느니라. 나는 바람과 불을 나의 수레가 되게 하며 내가 산더러 이르기를 - 여기에서 떠나라 - 하면, 보라, 홀연히 일순간에 산들은 회오리바람에 취하여 감을 당하느니라.	For I am the Lord thy God; I dwell in heaven; the earth is my footstool; I stretch my hand over the sea, and it obeys my voice; I cause the wind and the fire to be my chariot; I say to the mountains—Depart hence—and behold, they are taken away by a whirlwind, in an instant, suddenly.
아브 2:8	내 이름은 여호와니, 나는 시작부터 끝을 아느니라. 그러므로, 내 손이 네 위에 있으리라.	My name is Jehovah, and I know the end from the beginning; therefore my hand shall be over thee.
아브 2:9	또 내가 너로 큰 나라가 되게 하겠고 내가 네게 한량 없이 복을 주어 네 이름을 모든 나라 가운데서 크게 할 것인즉, 너는 네 뒤를 이을 네 자손에게 복이 되리니, 그들은 그들의 손으로 이 성역과 신권을 지니고 모든 나라에게 전하리라.	And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee above measure, and make thy name great among all nations, and thou shalt be a blessing unto thy seed after thee, that in their hands they shall bear this ministry and Priesthood unto all nations;
아브 2:10	또 내가 네 이름을 통하여 그들에게 복을 주리니, 이 복음을 받아들이는 자마다 네 이름으로 불리울 것이요, 네 자손으로 헤아림을 받을 것이요, 그들은 일어나 너를 그들의 조상으로 찬양하리라.	And I will bless them through thy name; for as many as receive this Gospel shall be called after thy name, and shall be accounted thy seed, and shall rise up and bless thee, as their father;
아브 2:11	또 나는 너를 축복하는 자를 축복하고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라. 그리고 너로 말미암아 (이는 곧 네 신권으로 말미암는 것이라) 그리고 네 자손으로 말미암아 (이는 곧 네 신권이라,) 이는 이 권리가 너와 네 뒤를 이을 자손 (말하자면, 실제 자손 곧 몸의 자손) 가운데 계속 이어지리라는 약속을 네게 줌이니, 땅의 모든 족속이 복음의 축복으로 복을 받을 것인즉, 구원의 축복 곧 영생의 축복이니라.	And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee; and in thee (that is, in thy Priesthood) and in thy seed (that is, thy Priesthood), for I give unto thee a promise that this right shall continue in thee, and in thy seed after thee (that is to say, the literal seed, or the seed of the body) shall all the families of the earth be blessed, even with the blessings of the Gospel, which are the blessings of salvation, even of life eternal.
아브 2:12	이제 주께서 내게 말씀하기를 마치시고, 그 얼굴이 내게서 물러간 후에 내가 내 마음 속으로 이르기를, 당신의 종이 당신을 간절히 구하였더니, 이제 내가 당신을 찾았나이다.	Now, after the Lord had withdrawn from speaking to me, and withdrawn his face from me, I said in my heart: Thy servant has sought thee earnestly; now I have found thee;
아브 2:13	당신께서 실로 당신의 천사를 보내사 엘케나의 신들에게서 나를 건지셨사오니, 내가 당신의 음성을 듣는 것이 잘 행하는 일이 되겠나이다. 그러므로 당신의 종으로 일어나 평안히 떠나게 하소서 하였더라.	Thou didst send thine angel to deliver me from the gods of Elkenah, and I will do well to hearken unto thy voice, therefore let thy servant rise up and depart in peace.
아브 2:14	그리하여 나 아브라함은 주께서 내게 말씀하신 대로 떠났고, 롯도 함께 갔으니, 나 아브라함이 하란을 떠날 때에 육십이 세였더라.	So I, Abraham, departed as the Lord had said unto me, and Lot with me; and I, Abraham, was sixty and two years old when I departed out of Haran.
아브 2:15	그리고 내가 갈대아 우르에 있을 때 아내로 맞은 사래와 내 형제의 아들 롯과 우리가 모은 우리의 모든 재산과 우리가 하란에서 얻은 사람들을 데리고 가나안 땅에 이르는 길로 나아갔고, 우리가 가는 도중에는 천막에 거하였더라.	And I took Sarai, whom I took to wife when I was in Ur, in Chaldea, and Lot, my brother’s son, and all our substance that we had gathered, and the souls that we had won in Haran, and came forth in the way to the land of Canaan, and dwelt in tents as we came on our way;
아브 2:16	그러므로 우리가 하란을 떠나 가나안 땅에 이르려고 옐손의 길로 여행하는 동안 영원은 우리의 덮개요, 우리의 반석이요, 우리의 구원이더라.	Therefore, eternity was our covering and our rock and our salvation, as we journeyed from Haran by the way of Jershon, to come to the land of Canaan.
아브 2:17	이제 나 아브라함이 옐손 땅에서 제단을 쌓고 주께 제물을 드리고 내 아버지의 집이 멸망하지 않도록 기근이 그들에게서 돌이켜지기를 빌었더라.	Now I, Abraham, built an altar in the land of Jershon, and made an offering unto the Lord, and prayed that the famine might be turned away from my father’s house, that they might not perish.
아브 2:18	그러고 나서 우리는 옐손을 떠나 그 땅을 통과하여 세겜 지방으로 갔더라. 그 곳은 모레 평지에 위치해 있었고 우리는 이미 가나안인의 땅 경계 안으로 들어왔더라. 이에 나는 거기 모레 평지에서 희생을 드리고 경건하게 주의 이름을 불렀나니, 이는 우리가 이미 이 우상을 숭배하는 나라의 땅에 들어왔음이더라.	And then we passed from Jershon through the land unto the place of Sechem; it was situated in the plains of Moreh, and we had already come into the borders of the land of the Canaanites, and I offered sacrifice there in the plains of Moreh, and called on the Lord devoutly, because we had already come into the land of this idolatrous nation.
아브 2:19	이에 주께서 내 기도에 응답하사 내게 나타나시고 내게 이르시되, 네 자손에게 내가 이 땅을 주리라 하시더라.	And the Lord appeared unto me in answer to my prayers, and said unto me: Unto thy seed will I give this land.
아브 2:20	이에 나 아브라함은 내가 주를 위하여 제단을 쌓은 곳에서 일어나 그 곳을 떠나 벧엘 동편에 있는 산으로 옮겨가서 그 곳에 나의 천막을 쳤으니, 서쪽은 벧엘이요 동쪽은 하이더라. 그리고 그 곳에 내가 주께 또 다른 제단을 쌓고 다시 주의 이름을 불렀더라.	And I, Abraham, arose from the place of the altar which I had built unto the Lord, and removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched my tent there, Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east; and there I built another altar unto the Lord, and called again upon the name of the Lord.
아브 2:21	그리고 나 아브라함은 여전히 남쪽을 향하여 계속 나아가며 여행하였고 그 땅에 기근이 계속되었더라. 이에 나 아브라함은 애굽으로 내려가 거기에 머물기로 결론을 내렸나니, 이는 기근이 매우 심하였음이더라.	And I, Abraham, journeyed, going on still towards the south; and there was a continuation of a famine in the land; and I, Abraham, concluded to go down into Egypt, to sojourn there, for the famine became very grievous.
아브 2:22	그리고 이렇게 되었나니, 내가 애굽에 들어가는 곳 가까이에 이르렀을 때에 주께서 내게 이르시되, 보라, 네 아내 사래는 보기에 매우 아리따운 여인이라.	And it came to pass when I was come near to enter into Egypt, the Lord said unto me: Behold, Sarai, thy wife, is a very fair woman to look upon;
아브 2:23	그러므로 이렇게 되리니, 애굽인들이 그를 볼 때에 그들이 말하기를 - 그는 저의 아내라 하며, 그들은 너를 죽일 것이나 그는 살려 두리라. 그러므로 너희는 삼가 이같이 행하도록 하라.	Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see her, they will say—She is his wife; and they will kill you, but they will save her alive; therefore see that ye do on this wise:
아브 2:24	그로 애굽인에게 자기는 네 누이라 말하게 하라. 그리하면 네 영혼이 살리라 하시더라.	Let her say unto the Egyptians, she is thy sister, and thy soul shall live.
아브 2:25	이에 이렇게 되었나니, 나 아브라함이 주께서 내게 하신 말씀을 나의 아내 사래에게 모두 말하되 - 그러므로 청컨대 그들에게 그대는 내 누이라 말하라. 그리하면 내가 그대로 인하여 안전할 것이요, 내 영혼이 그대로 인하여 살리라 하였더라.	And it came to pass that I, Abraham, told Sarai, my wife, all that the Lord had said unto me—Therefore say unto them, I pray thee, thou art my sister, that it may be well with me for thy sake, and my soul shall live because of thee.
