소개	아달랴가 왕의 씨를 진멸하여, 이때 살아남은 요아스가 일곱살때 왕위에 오를때까지, 유다를 다스림. 제사장 여호야다가 바알의 사당을 파괴함.	Athaliah destroys the royal seed in Judah and reigns herself in Judah—Joash preserved and crowned king when seven years old—Jehoiada the priest destroys house of Baal.
왕하 11:1	아하시야의 어머니 아달랴가 그의 아들이 죽은 것을 보고 일어나 왕의 자손을 모두 멸절하였으나	And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.
왕하 11:2	요람 왕의 딸 아하시야의 누이 여호세바가 아하시야의 아들 요아스를 왕자들이 죽임을 당하는 중에서 빼내어 그와 그의 유모를 침실에 숨겨 아달랴를 피하여 죽임을 당하지 아니하게 한지라	But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.
왕하 11:3	요아스가 그와 함께 여호와의 성전에 육 년을 숨어 있는 동안에 아달랴가 나라를 다스렸더라	And he was with her hid in the house of the LORD six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land.
왕하 11:4	일곱째 해에 여호야다가 사람을 보내 가리 사람의 백부장들과 호위병의 백부장들을 불러 데리고 여호와의 성전으로 들어가서 그들과 언약을 맺고 그들에게 여호와의 성전에서 맹세하게 한 후에 왕자를 그들에게 보이고	And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the LORD, and shewed them the king’s son.
왕하 11:5	명령하여 이르되 너희가 행할 것이 이러하니 안식일에 들어온 너희 중 삼분의 일은 왕궁을 주의하여 지키고	And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;
왕하 11:6	삼분의 일은 수르 문에 있고 삼분의 일은 호위대 뒤에 있는 문에 있어서 이와 같이 왕궁을 주의하여 지키고	And a third part shall be at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down.
왕하 11:7	안식일에 나가는 너희 중 두 대는 여호와의 성전을 주의하여 지켜 왕을 호위하되	And two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the LORD about the king.
왕하 11:8	너희는 각각 손에 무기를 잡고 왕을 호위하며 너희 대열을 침범하는 모든 자는 죽이고 왕이 출입할 때에 시위할지니라 하니	And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.
왕하 11:9	백부장들이 이에 제사장 여호야다의 모든 명령대로 행하여 각기 관할하는 바 안식일에 들어오는 자와 안식일에 나가는 자를 거느리고 제사장 여호야다에게 나아오매	And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
왕하 11:10	제사장이 여호와의 성전에 있는 다윗 왕의 창과 방패를 백부장들에게 주니	And to the captains over hundreds did the priest give king David’s spears and shields, that were in the temple of the LORD.
왕하 11:11	호위병이 각각 손에 무기를 잡고 왕을 호위하되 성전 오른쪽에서부터 왼쪽까지 제단과 성전 곁에 서고	And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple.
왕하 11:12	여호야다가 왕자를 인도하여 내어 왕관을 씌우며 율법책을 주고 기름을 부어 왕으로 삼으매 무리가 박수하며 왕의 만세를 부르니라	And he brought forth the king’s son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.
왕하 11:13	아달랴가 호위병과 백성의 소리를 듣고 여호와의 성전에 들어가 백성에게 이르러	And when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the people into the temple of the LORD.
왕하 11:14	보매 왕이 규례대로 단 위에 섰고 장관들과 나팔수가 왕의 곁에 모셔 섰으며 온 백성이 즐거워하여 나팔을 부는지라 아달랴가 옷을 찢으며 외치되 반역이로다 반역이로다 하매	And when she looked, behold, the king stood by a pillar, as the manner was, and the princes and the trumpeters by the king, and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets: and Athaliah rent her clothes, and cried, Treason, Treason.
왕하 11:15	제사장 여호야다가 군대를 거느린 백부장들에게 명령하여 이르되 그를 대열 밖으로 몰아내라 그를 따르는 자는 모두 칼로 죽이라 하니 제사장의 이 말은 여호와의 성전에서는 그를 죽이지 말라 함이라	But Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said unto them, Have her forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill with the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in the house of the LORD.
왕하 11:16	이에 그의 길을 열어 주매 그가 왕궁의 말이 다니는 길로 가다가 거기서 죽임을 당하였더라	And they laid hands on her; and she went by the way by the which the horses came into the king’s house: and there was she slain.
왕하 11:17	여호야다가 왕과 백성에게 여호와와 언약을 맺어 여호와의 백성이 되게 하고 왕과 백성 사이에도 언약을 세우게 하매	And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD’s people; between the king also and the people.
왕하 11:18	온 백성이 바알의 신당으로 가서 그 신당을 허물고 그 제단들과 우상들을 철저히 깨뜨리고 그 제단 앞에서 바알의 제사장 맛단을 죽이니라 제사장이 관리들을 세워 여호와의 성전을 수직하게 하고	And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD.
왕하 11:19	또 백부장들과 가리 사람과 호위병과 온 백성을 거느리고 왕을 인도하여 여호와의 성전에서 내려와 호위병의 문 길을 통하여 왕궁에 이르매 그가 왕의 왕좌에 앉으니	And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king’s house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
왕하 11:20	온 백성이 즐거워하고 온 성이 평온하더라 아달랴를 무리가 왕궁에서 칼로 죽였더라	And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword beside the king’s house.
왕하 11:21	요아스가 왕이 될 때에 나이가 칠 세였더라	Seven years old was Jehoash when he began to reign.
