소개	르호보암이 유다왕국을 강하게 하였으나 이스라엘을 공략하는것이 금지됨. 유다와 베냐민 르보보암에게 속함. 여로보암이 이스라엘백성들로 우상숭배에 빠지게 하므로 이스라엘 모든 지파중에 레위인들과 하나님께 충실한 사람들이 예루살렘으로 이주함. 르호보암이 많은 처첩을 거느림.	Rehoboam strengthens the kingdom of Judah but is forbidden to subdue Israel—Jeroboam leads kingdom of Israel into idolatry—Rehoboam takes many wives and concubines.
대하 11:1	르호보암이 예루살렘에 이르러 유다와 베냐민 족속을 모으니 택한 용사가 십팔만 명이라 이스라엘과 싸워 나라를 회복하여 르호보암에게 돌리려 하더니	And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
대하 11:2	여호와의 말씀이 하나님의 사람 스마야에게 임하여 이르시되	But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
대하 11:3	솔로몬의 아들 유다 왕 르호보암과 유다와 베냐민에 속한 모든 이스라엘 무리에게 말하여 이르기를	Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
대하 11:4	여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 너희는 올라가지 말라 너희 형제와 싸우지 말고 각기 집으로 돌아가라 이 일이 내게로 말미암아 난 것이라 하셨다 하라 하신지라 그들이 여호와의 말씀을 듣고 돌아가고 여로보암을 치러 가던 길에서 되돌아왔더라	Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
대하 11:5	르호보암이 예루살렘에 살면서 유다 땅에 방비하는 성읍들을 건축하였으니	And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah.
대하 11:6	곧 베들레헴과 에담과 드고아와	He built even Beth-lehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,
대하 11:7	벧술과 소고와 아둘람과	And Beth-zur, and Shoco, and Adullam,
대하 11:8	가드와 마레사와 십과	And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,
대하 11:9	아도라임과 라기스와 아세가와	And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,
대하 11:10	소라와 아얄론과 헤브론이니 다 유다와 베냐민 땅에 있어 견고한 성읍들이라	And Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin fenced cities.
대하 11:11	르호보암이 그 방비하는 성읍들을 더욱 견고하게 하고 지휘관들을 그 가운데에 두고 양식과 기름과 포도주를 저축하고	And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.
대하 11:12	모든 성읍에 방패와 창을 두어 매우 강하게 하니라 유다와 베냐민이 르호보암에게 속하였더라	And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
대하 11:13	온 이스라엘의 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 그들의 모든 지방에서부터 르호보암에게 돌아오되	And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts.
대하 11:14	레위 사람들이 자기들의 마을들과 산업을 떠나 유다와 예루살렘에 이르렀으니 이는 여로보암과 그의 아들들이 그들을 해임하여 여호와께 제사장의 직분을 행하지 못하게 하고	For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest’s office unto the LORD:
대하 11:15	여로보암이 여러 산당과 숫염소 우상과 자기가 만든 송아지 우상을 위하여 친히 제사장들을 세움이라	And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
대하 11:16	이스라엘 모든 지파 중에 마음을 굳게 하여 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 찾는 자들이 레위 사람들을 따라 예루살렘에 이르러 그들의 조상들의 하나님 여호와께 제사하고자 한지라	And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.
대하 11:17	그러므로 삼 년 동안 유다 나라를 도와 솔로몬의 아들 르호보암을 강성하게 하였으니 이는 무리가 삼 년 동안을 다윗과 솔로몬의 길로 행하였음이더라	So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.
대하 11:18	르호보암이 다윗의 아들 여리못의 딸 마할랏을 아내로 삼았으니 마할랏은 이새의 아들 엘리압의 딸 아비하일의 소생이라	And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;
대하 11:19	그가 아들들 곧 여우스와 스마랴와 사함을 낳았으며	Which bare him children; Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham.
대하 11:20	그 후에 압살롬의 딸 마아가에게 장가 들었더니 그가 아비야와 앗대와 시사와 슬로밋을 낳았더라	And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; which bare him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.
대하 11:21	르호보암은 아내 열여덟 명과 첩 예순 명을 거느려 아들 스물여덟 명과 딸 예순 명을 낳았으나 압살롬의 딸 마아가를 모든 처첩보다 더 사랑하여	And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.)
대하 11:22	르호보암은 마아가의 아들 아비야를 후계자로 세웠으니 이는 그의 형제들 가운데 지도자로 삼아 왕으로 세우고자 함이었더라	And Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, to be ruler among his brethren: for he thought to make him king.
대하 11:23	르호보암이 지혜롭게 행하여 그의 모든 아들을 유다와 베냐민의 온 땅 모든 견고한 성읍에 흩어 살게 하고 양식을 후히 주고 아내를 많이 구하여 주었더라	And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives.
