소개	천하에 범사가 기한이 있고 모든 목적이 이룰 때가 있나니	To everything there is a season—Whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever—God shall judge the righteous and the wicked.
전 3:1	범사에 기한이 있고 천하 만사가 다 때가 있나니	To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
전 3:2	날 때가 있고 죽을 때가 있으며 심을 때가 있고 심은 것을 뽑을 때가 있으며	A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
전 3:3	죽일 때가 있고 치료할 때가 있으며 헐 때가 있고 세울 때가 있으며	A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
전 3:4	울 때가 있고 웃을 때가 있으며 슬퍼할 때가 있고 춤출 때가 있으며	A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
전 3:5	돌을 던져 버릴 때가 있고 돌을 거둘 때가 있으며 안을 때가 있고 안는 일을 멀리 할 때가 있으며	A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
전 3:6	찾을 때가 있고 잃을 때가 있으며 지킬 때가 있고 버릴 때가 있으며	A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
전 3:7	찢을 때가 있고 꿰맬 때가 있으며 잠잠할 때가 있고 말할 때가 있으며	A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
전 3:8	사랑할 때가 있고 미워할 때가 있으며 전쟁할 때가 있고 평화할 때가 있느니라	A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
전 3:9	일하는 자가 그의 수고로 말미암아 무슨 이익이 있으랴	What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
전 3:10	하나님이 인생들에게 노고를 주사 애쓰게 하신 것을 내가 보았노라	I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
전 3:11	하나님이 모든 것을 지으시되 때를 따라 아름답게 하셨고 또 사람들에게는 영원을 사모하는 마음을 주셨느니라 그러나 하나님이 하시는 일의 시종을 사람으로 측량할 수 없게 하셨도다	He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
전 3:12	사람들이 사는 동안에 기뻐하며 선을 행하는 것보다 더 나은 것이 없는 줄을 내가 알았고	I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
전 3:13	사람마다 먹고 마시는 것과 수고함으로 낙을 누리는 그것이 하나님의 선물인 줄도 또한 알았도다	And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
전 3:14	하나님께서 행하시는 모든 것은 영원히 있을 것이라 그 위에 더 할 수도 없고 그것에서 덜 할 수도 없나니 하나님이 이같이 행하심은 사람들이 그의 앞에서 경외하게 하려 하심인 줄을 내가 알았도다	I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
전 3:15	이제 있는 것이 옛적에 있었고 장래에 있을 것도 옛적에 있었나니 하나님은 이미 지난 것을 다시 찾으시느니라	That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
전 3:16	또 내가 해 아래에서 보건대 재판하는 곳 거기에도 악이 있고 정의를 행하는 곳 거기에도 악이 있도다	And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
전 3:17	내가 내 마음속으로 이르기를 의인과 악인을 하나님이 심판하시리니 이는 모든 소망하는 일과 모든 행사에 때가 있음이라 하였으며	I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
전 3:18	내가 내 마음속으로 이르기를 인생들의 일에 대하여 하나님이 그들을 시험하시리니 그들이 자기가 짐승과 다름이 없는 줄을 깨닫게 하려 하심이라 하였노라	I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
전 3:19	인생이 당하는 일을 짐승도 당하나니 그들이 당하는 일이 일반이라 다 동일한 호흡이 있어서 짐승이 죽음 같이 사람도 죽으니 사람이 짐승보다 뛰어남이 없음은 모든 것이 헛됨이로다	For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
전 3:20	다 흙으로 말미암았으므로 다 흙으로 돌아가나니 다 한 곳으로 가거니와	All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
전 3:21	인생들의 혼은 위로 올라가고 짐승의 혼은 아래 곧 땅으로 내려가는 줄을 누가 알랴	Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
전 3:22	그러므로 나는 사람이 자기 일에 즐거워하는 것보다 더 나은 것이 없음을 보았나니 이는 그것이 그의 몫이기 때문이라 아, 그의 뒤에 일어날 일이 무엇인지를 보게 하려고 그를 도로 데리고 올 자가 누구이랴	Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
