소개	우리의 절기 지키는 시온성을 보라 네 눈에 안정한 처소된 예루살렘이 보이리니 그것은 옮겨지지 아니할 장막이라 그 말뚝이 영영히 뽑히지 아니할 것이요 그 줄이 하나도 끊치지 아니할 것이 며	Apostasy and wickedness precede the Second Coming—The Lord shall come with devouring fire—Zion and her stakes shall be perfected—The Lord is our Judge, Lawgiver, and King.
사 33:1	너 학대를 당하지 아니하고도 학대하며 속이고도 속임을 당하지 아니하는 자여 화 있을진저 네가 학대하기를 그치면 네가 학대를 당할 것이며 네가 속이기를 그치면 사람이 너를 속이리라	Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
사 33:2	여호와여 우리에게 은혜를 베푸소서 우리가 주를 앙망하오니 주는 아침마다 우리의 팔이 되시며 환난 때에 우리의 구원이 되소서	O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
사 33:3	요란한 소리로 말미암아 민족들이 도망하며 주께서 일어나심으로 말미암아 나라들이 흩어졌나이다	At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
사 33:4	황충의 떼 같이 사람이 너희의 노략물을 모을 것이며 메뚜기가 뛰어오름 같이 그들이 그 위로 뛰어오르리라	And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
사 33:5	여호와께서는 지극히 존귀하시니 그는 높은 곳에 거하심이요 정의와 공의를 시온에 충만하게 하심이라	The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
사 33:6	네 시대에 평안함이 있으며 구원과 지혜와 지식이 풍성할 것이니 여호와를 경외함이 네 보배니라	And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
사 33:7	보라 그들의 용사가 밖에서 부르짖으며 평화의 사신들이 슬피 곡하며	Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
사 33:8	대로가 황폐하여 행인이 끊어지며 대적이 조약을 파하고 성읍들을 멸시하며 사람을 생각하지 아니하며	The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
사 33:9	땅이 슬퍼하고 쇠잔하며 레바논은 부끄러워하고 마르며 사론은 사막과 같고 바산과 갈멜은 나뭇잎을 떨어뜨리는도다	The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness: and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
사 33:10	여호와께서 이르시되 내가 이제 일어나며 내가 이제 나를 높이며 내가 이제 지극히 높아지리니	Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
사 33:11	너희가 겨를 잉태하고 짚을 해산할 것이며 너희의 호흡은 불이 되어 너희를 삼킬 것이며	Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
사 33:12	민족들은 불에 굽는 횟돌 같겠고 잘라서 불에 사르는 가시나무 같으리로다	And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
사 33:13	너희 먼 데에 있는 자들아 내가 행한 것을 들으라 너희 가까이에 있는 자들아 나의 권능을 알라	Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
사 33:14	시온의 죄인들이 두려워하며 경건하지 아니한 자들이 떨며 이르기를 우리 중에 누가 삼키는 불과 함께 거하겠으며 우리 중에 누가 영영히 타는 것과 함께 거하리요 하도다	The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
사 33:15	오직 공의롭게 행하는 자, 정직히 말하는 자, 토색한 재물을 가증히 여기는 자, 손을 흔들어 뇌물을 받지 아니하는 자, 귀를 막아 피 흘리려는 꾀를 듣지 아니하는 자, 눈을 감아 악을 보지 아니하는 자,	He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
사 33:16	그는 높은 곳에 거하리니 견고한 바위가 그의 요새가 되며 그의 양식은 공급되고 그의 물은 끊어지지 아니하리라	He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
사 33:17	네 눈은 왕을 그의 아름다운 가운데에서 보며 광활한 땅을 눈으로 보겠고	Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
사 33:18	네 마음은 두려워하던 것을 생각해 내리라 계산하던 자가 어디 있느냐 공세를 계량하던 자가 어디 있느냐 망대를 계수하던 자가 어디 있느냐	Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
사 33:19	네가 강포한 백성을 보지 아니하리라 그 백성은 방언이 어려워 네가 알아듣지 못하며 말이 이상하여 네가 깨닫지 못하는 자니라	Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
사 33:20	우리 절기의 시온 성을 보라 네 눈이 안정된 처소인 예루살렘을 보리니 그것은 옮겨지지 아니할 장막이라 그 말뚝이 영영히 뽑히지 아니할 것이요 그 줄이 하나도 끊어지지 아니할 것이며	Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
사 33:21	여호와는 거기에 위엄 중에 우리와 함께 계시리니 그 곳에는 여러 강과 큰 호수가 있으나 노 젓는 배나 큰 배가 통행하지 못하리라	But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
사 33:22	대저 여호와는 우리 재판장이시요 여호와는 우리에게 율법을 세우신 이요 여호와는 우리의 왕이시니 그가 우리를 구원하실 것임이라	For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.
사 33:23	네 돛대 줄이 풀렸으니 돛대의 밑을 튼튼히 하지 못하였고 돛을 달지 못하였느니라 때가 되면 많은 재물을 탈취하여 나누리니 저는 자도 그 재물을 취할 것이며	Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
사 33:24	그 거주민은 내가 병들었노라 하지 아니할 것이라 거기에 사는 백성이 사죄함을 받으리라	And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
