| 몰몬 7:1 | 그리고 이제 보라, 나는 살아남은 이 백성의 남은 자들에게 얼마간 말하고자 하노니, 만일 하나님께서 나의 말을 그들에게 주실진대, 그들로 그들 조상들의 일에 대하여 알게 하려 함이라. 참으로 내가 너희, 곧 너희 이스라엘 집의 남은 자들에게 이르노니, 이것이 내가 너희에게 하는 말이니라. | And now, behold, I would speak somewhat unto the remnant of this people who are spared, if it so be that God may give unto them my words, that they may know of the things of their fathers; yea, I speak unto you, ye remnant of the house of Israel; and these are the words which I speak: |
| 몰몬 7:2 | 너희는 너희가 이스라엘의 집에 속하였음을 알라. | Know ye that ye are of the house of Israel. |
| 몰몬 7:3 | 너희는 반드시 회개에 이르러야 하며, 그렇지 아니하면 구원받을 수 없다는 것을 알라. | Know ye that ye must come unto repentance, or ye cannot be saved. |
| 몰몬 7:4 | 너희는 반드시 너희의 전쟁 무기를 내려놓고, 다시는 피 흘리는 일을 기뻐하지 말며, 하나님이 너희에게 명하시기 전에는 그것을 다시 잡지 말아야 한다는 것을 알라. | Know ye that ye must lay down your weapons of war, and delight no more in the shedding of blood, and take them not again, save it be that God shall command you. |
| 몰몬 7:5 | 너희는 반드시 너희 조상들에 대한 지식에 이르러 너희의 모든 죄와 악을 회개하고, 예수 그리스도를 믿되 그가 하나님의 아들이심과 유대인들에게 죽임을 당하셨으나, 아버지의 권능으로 다시 일어나사 이로써 무덤을 이기고 승리를 얻으셨고 또한 그의 안에서 사망의 쏘는 것이 삼키운 바 되었음을 믿어야 함을 알라. | Know ye that ye must come to the knowledge of your fathers, and repent of all your sins and iniquities, and believe in Jesus Christ, that he is the Son of God, and that he was slain by the Jews, and by the power of the Father he hath risen again, whereby he hath gained the victory over the grave; and also in him is the sting of death swallowed up. |
| 몰몬 7:6 | 이에 그가 죽은 자의 부활을 이루시매, 이로써 사람은 반드시 일으킴을 받아 그의 심판대 앞에 설 것이라. | And he bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead, whereby man must be raised to stand before his judgment-seat. |
| 몰몬 7:7 | 또 그가 세상의 구속을 이루셨으매, 이로써 심판 날에 그의 앞에서 죄 없는 것으로 발견되는 자는 그의 나라에서 하나님의 면전에 거하게 하여 주심을 얻고, 위에 있는 합창대와 함께 끝없는 행복의 상태에서 한 하나님이신 아버지와 아들과 성신에게 그치지 않는 찬송을 부르게 되리라. | And he hath brought to pass the redemption of the world, whereby he that is found guiltless before him at the judgment day hath it given unto him to dwell in the presence of God in his kingdom, to sing ceaseless praises with the choirs above, unto the Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a state of happiness which hath no end. |
| 몰몬 7:8 | 그러므로 회개하여, 예수의 이름으로 침례를 받고, 이 기록뿐 아니라 또한 유대인들로부터 이방인들에게로 나아와서 이방인들로부터 너희에게로 나아올 기록 안에 들어 있어 너희 앞에 놓이게 될 그리스도의 복음을 붙잡으라. | Therefore repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus, and lay hold upon the gospel of Christ, which shall be set before you, not only in this record but also in the record which shall come unto the Gentiles from the Jews, which record shall come from the Gentiles unto you. |
| 몰몬 7:9 | 이는 보라, 이것은 너희로 그것을 믿게 하려는 목적으로 기록된 것인 바, 만일 너희가 그것을 믿으면 너희는 이것도 믿을 것이요 너희가 이것을 믿으면 너희는 너희 조상과 또한 하나님의 권능으로 그들 가운데 역사된 기이한 일들에 관하여 알게 될 것이라. | For behold, this is written for the intent that ye may believe that; and if ye believe that ye will believe this also; and if ye believe this ye will know concerning your fathers, and also the marvelous works which were wrought by the power of God among them. |
| 몰몬 7:10 | 그리고 너희는 또한 너희가 야곱 자손의 한 남은 자요, 그러므로 너희가 첫번 성약의 백성 가운데서 헤아림을 받는 줄을 알리니, 만일 너희가 그리스도를 믿어, 우리 구주의 본을 따라 그가 우리에게 명하신 대로, 먼저 물로, 그러고 나서 불과 성신으로 침례를 받을진대, 심판의 날에 너희가 잘되리로다. 아멘. | And ye will also know that ye are a remnant of the seed of Jacob; therefore ye are numbered among the people of the first covenant; and if it so be that ye believe in Christ, and are baptized, first with water, then with fire and with the Holy Ghost, following the example of our Savior, according to that which he hath commanded us, it shall be well with you in the day of judgment. Amen. |
