소개 주께서는 마지막 날에 이스라엘을 회복하실 것임 - 세상은 불에 살라질 것임 - 사람이 불과 유황의 못을 피하기 위해서는 반드시 그리스도를 따라야 함. 주전 544~421년경. The Lord shall recover Israel in the last days—Then the world shall be burned with fire—Men must follow Christ to avoid the lake of fire and brimstone. [Between 544 and 421 B.C.]
야곱 6:1 그리고 이제 보라, 나의 형제들아, 내가 예언하겠다고 너희에게 일렀음같이, 보라, 이것이 나의 예언이니 - 이 선지자 지노스가 이스라엘의 집에 대하여 말한 바, 그들을 가꾼 감람나무에 비유한 것이 정녕코 반드시 이루어지리라. And now, behold, my brethren, as I said unto you that I would prophesy, behold, this is my prophecy-that the things which this prophet Zenos spake, concerning the house of Israel, in the which he likened them unto a tame olive-tree, must surely come to pass.
야곱 6:2 또 그가 자기 백성을 회복하시려고 두 번째로 다시 그의 손을 펴실 그 날이, 곧 주의 종들이 그의 권능으로 나아가 그의 포도원을 가꾸며 가지를 칠 날이니, 참으로 마지막으로 그리할 때이며, 그 후에 끝이 곧 오느니라. And the day that he shall set his hand again the second time to recover his people, is the day, yea, even the last time, that the servants of the Lord shall go forth in his power, to nourish and prune his vineyard; and after that the end soon cometh.
야곱 6:3 또 그의 포도원에서 부지런히 일한 자들의 복됨이 그 어떠하며, 또한 제 자리로 내어쫓길 자들의 저주받음이 그 어떠하냐! 그리고 세상은 불에 살라지리라. And how blessed are they who have labored diligently in his vineyard; and how cursed are they who shall be cast out into their own place! And the world shall be burned with fire.
야곱 6:4 또 우리의 하나님께서 우리를 긍휼히 여기심이 그 어떠하냐, 이는 그가 이스라엘 집을 기억하시되, 뿌리와 가지를 모두 기억하시며, 온종일 그들에게 그 손을 내뻗으시며, 그들이 목이 뻣뻣하고 거스려 말하는 백성이라도, 그 마음을 완악하게 아니하는 자들은 모두 하나님의 왕국에서 구원받을 것임이라. And how merciful is our God unto us, for he remembereth the house of Israel, both roots and branches; and he stretches forth his hands unto them all the day long; and they are a stiffnecked and a gainsaying people; but as many as will not harden their hearts shall be saved in the kingdom of God.
야곱 6:5 그런즉 나의 사랑하는 형제들아, 진지한 말로써 내가 너희에게 구하노니, 너희는 회개하고 마음의 뜻을 다하여 와서, 하나님께 합하기를 그가 너희에게 합하심같이 하고, 그의 자비하신 팔이 낮의 빛 가운데 너희를 향하여 펴져 있는 동안, 너희 마음을 완악하게 하지 말라. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I beseech of you in words of soberness that ye would repent, and come with full purpose of heart, and cleave unto God as he cleaveth unto you. And while his arm of mercy is extended towards you in the light of the day, harden not your hearts.
야곱 6:6 참으로 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든, 너희 마음을 완악하게 하지 말라. 너희가 어찌 죽고자 하느냐? Yea, today, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts; for why will ye die?
야곱 6:7 보라, 너희가 온종일 하나님의 선하신 말씀으로 양육 받고 나서, 너희가 못된 열매를 맺음으로 찍혀 불에 던지워야만 하겠느냐? For behold, after ye have been nourished by the good word of God all the day long, will ye bring forth evil fruit, that ye must be hewn down and cast into the fire?
야곱 6:8 보라, 너희는 이 말씀을 저버리겠느냐? 너희는 선지자들의 말씀을 저버리겠으며, 그토록 많은 이들이 그리스도에 관하여 말했음에도, 그리스도에 관하여 한 모든 말을 저버리며 그리스도의 선한 말씀과 하나님의 권능과 성신의 은사를 부인하며 성령을 소멸하며, 너희를 위해 마련된 위대한 구속의 계획을 조롱하겠느냐? Behold, will ye reject these words? Will ye reject the words of the prophets; and will ye reject all the words which have been spoken concerning Christ, after so many have spoken concerning him; and deny the good word of Christ, and the power of God, and the gift of the Holy Ghost, and quench the Holy Spirit, and make a mock of the great plan of redemption, which hath been laid for you?
야곱 6:9 만일 너희가 이렇게 행한다면, 그리스도 안에 있는 구속과 부활의 능력이, 너희를 데려다 하나님의 심판대 앞에 부끄러움과 무서운 죄책감으로 서게 하실 것을 너희가 알지 못하느냐? Know ye not that if ye will do these things, that the power of the redemption and the resurrection, which is in Christ, will bring you to stand with shame and awful guilt before the bar of God?
야곱 6:10 또 공의는 거부할 수 없은즉, 공의의 능력을 좇아 너희는 저 불과 유황의 못에 들어가야 하나니, 그 불꽃이 꺼지지 아니하며, 그 연기가 세세 영원토록 올라가느니라. 이 불과 유황의 못은 끝없는 고통이니라. And according to the power of justice, for justice cannot be denied, ye must go away into that lake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are unquenchable, and whose smoke ascendeth up forever and ever, which lake of fire and brimstone is endless torment.
야곱 6:11 오 그러할진대 나의 사랑하는 형제들아, 너희는 회개하고 좁은 문으로 들어가, 영생을 얻기까지 계속하여 협착한 길로 행하라. O then, my beloved brethren, repent ye, and enter in at the strait gate, and continue in the way which is narrow, until ye shall obtain eternal life.
야곱 6:12 오 지혜로우라. 내가 무엇을 더 말할 수 있으리요. O be wise; what can I say more?
야곱 6:13 끝으로 내가 하나님의 기쁜 심판대 앞에서 너희를 만날 때까지, 너희에게 작별을 고하노니, 하나님의 심판대는 간악한 자들을 무서운 공포와 두려움으로 치느니라. 아멘. Finally, I bid you farewell, until I shall meet you before the pleasing bar of God, which bar striketh the wicked with awful dread and fear. Amen.
