소개 매 칠년에는 모든 빚을 면제해줄것. 가난한 자에게 후하게 대하라. 모든 가축의 첫새끼 수컷은 주님의것. Every seven years all debts shall be released—Care for poor enjoined—Hebrew servants to be released and given gifts during seventh year—Firstling males of herds and flocks are the Lord’s.

 
신 15:1 매 칠 년 끝에는 면제하라 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.

 
신 15:2 면제의 규례는 이러하니라 그의 이웃에게 꾸어준 모든 채주는 그것을 면제하고 그의 이웃에게나 그 형제에게 독촉하지 말지니 이는 여호와를 위하여 면제를 선포하였음이라 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD’s release.

 
신 15:3 이방인에게는 네가 독촉하려니와 네 형제에게 꾸어준 것은 네 손에서 면제하라 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;

 
신 15:4 네가 만일 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀만 듣고 내가 오늘 네게 내리는 그 명령을 다 지켜 행하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주신 땅에서 네가 반드시 복을 받으리니 너희 중에 가난한 자가 없으리라 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:

 
신 15:5 네가 만일 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀만 듣고 내가 오늘날 네게 명하는 그 명령을 다 지켜 행하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 유업으로 주신 땅에서 네가 정녕 복을 받으리니 너희 중에 가난한 자가 없으리라 Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.

 
신 15:6 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 허락하신 대로 네게 복을 주시리니 네가 여러 나라에 꾸어 줄지라도 너는 꾸지 아니하겠고 네가 여러 나라를 통치할지라도 너는 통치를 당하지 아니하리라 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.

 
신 15:7 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주신 땅 어느 성읍에서든지 가난한 형제가 너와 함께 거주하거든 그 가난한 형제에게 네 마음을 완악하게 하지 말며 네 손을 움켜 쥐지 말고 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

 
신 15:8 반드시 네 손을 그에게 펴서 그에게 필요한 대로 쓸 것을 넉넉히 꾸어주라 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.

 
신 15:9 삼가 너는 마음에 악한 생각을 품지 말라 곧 이르기를 일곱째 해 면제년이 가까이 왔다 하고 네 궁핍한 형제를 악한 눈으로 바라보며 아무것도 주지 아니하면 그가 너를 여호와께 호소하리니 그것이 네게 죄가 되리라 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.

 
신 15:10 너는 반드시 그에게 줄 것이요, 줄 때에는 아끼는 마음을 품지 말 것이니라 이로 말미암아 네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 하는 모든 일과 네 손이 닿는 모든 일에 네게 복을 주시리라 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.

 
신 15:11 땅에는 언제든지 가난한 자가 그치지 아니하겠으므로 내가 네게 명령하여 이르노니 너는 반드시 네 땅 안에 네 형제 중 곤란한 자와 궁핍한 자에게 네 손을 펼지니라 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

 
신 15:12 네 동족 히브리 남자나 히브리 여자가 네게 팔렸다 하자 만일 여섯 해 동안 너를 섬겼거든 일곱째 해에 너는 그를 놓아 자유롭게 할 것이요 And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.

 
신 15:13 그를 놓아 자유하게 할 때에는 빈 손으로 가게 하지 말고 And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:

 
신 15:14 네 양 무리 중에서와 타작 마당에서와 포도주 틀에서 그에게 후히 줄지니 곧 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 복을 주신 대로 그에게 줄지니라 Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.

 
신 15:15 너는 애굽 땅에서 종 되었던 것과 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 속량하셨음을 기억하라 그것으로 말미암아 내가 오늘 이같이 네게 명령하노라 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.

 
신 15:16 종이 만일 너와 네 집을 사랑하므로 너와 동거하기를 좋게 여겨 네게 향하여 내가 주인을 떠나지 아니하겠노라 하거든 And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;

 
신 15:17 송곳을 가져다가 그의 귀를 문에 대고 뚫으라 그리하면 그가 영구히 네 종이 되리라 네 여종에게도 그같이 할지니라 Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.

 
신 15:18 그가 여섯 해 동안에 품꾼의 삯의 배나 받을 만큼 너를 섬겼은즉 너는 그를 놓아 자유하게 하기를 어렵게 여기지 말라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 범사에 네게 복을 주시리라 It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.

 
신 15:19 네 소와 양의 처음 난 수컷은 구별하여 네 하나님 여호와께 드릴 것이니 네 소의 첫 새끼는 부리지 말고 네 양의 첫 새끼의 털은 깎지 말고 All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.

 
신 15:20 너와 네 가족은 매년 여호와께서 택하신 곳 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 먹을지니라 Thou shalt eat it before the LORD thy God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy household.

 
신 15:21 그러나 그 짐승이 흠이 있어서 절거나 눈이 멀었거나 무슨 흠이 있으면 네 하나님 여호와께 잡아 드리지 못할지니 And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.

 
신 15:22 네 성중에서 먹되 부정한 자나 정한 자가 다 같이 먹기를 노루와 사슴을 먹음 같이 할 것이요 Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.

 
신 15:23 오직 피는 먹지 말고 물 같이 땅에 쏟을지니라 Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.
