소개 그리스도가 아버지요 아들이 되는 까닭 - 그가 중재를 행하시고 자기 백성의 범법을 담당하실 것임 - 그들과 모든 거룩한 선지자들이 그의 자손임 - 그가 부활을 가져오심 - 어린아이들은 영생을 가짐. 주전 148년경. How Christ is both the Father and the Son—He shall make intercession and bear the transgressions of his people—They and all the holy prophets are his seed—He bringeth to pass the resurrection—Little children have eternal life. [About 148 B.C.]
모사 15:1 그리고 이제 아빈아다이가 그들에게 이르되, 나는 하나님이 친히 사람의 자녀들 가운데 내려오사, 자기 백성을 구속하시리라는 것을 너희가 깨닫기 바라노라. And now Abinadi said unto them: I would that ye should understand that God himself shall come down among the children of men, and shall redeem his people.
모사 15:2 그가 육체 가운데 거하심으로 인하여 하나님의 아들이라 일컬음을 받을 것이며, 육체를 아버지의 뜻에 복종시키셨음으로, 아버지요 아들이 되시니 - And because he dwelleth in flesh he shall be called the Son of God, and having subjected the flesh to the will of the Father, being the Father and the Son?
모사 15:3 아버지인 것은, 그가 하나님의 능력으로 잉태되었음으로 인함이요. 아들인 것은 육체로 인함이라. 이리하여 아버지요 아들이 되시나니 - The Father, because he was conceived by the power of God; and the Son, because of the flesh; thus becoming the Father and Son?
모사 15:4 또 그들은 한 하나님이시라, 참으로 바로 하늘과 땅의 영원하신 아버지시니라. And they are one God, yea, the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth.
모사 15:5 또 이와 같이 육신이 영에게, 곧 아들이 아버지께, 복종하여 한 하나님이 되사, 유혹을 받으시나 유혹에 굴하지 아니하시며, 조롱 받음과 채찍질 당함과 쫓겨남과 자기 백성에게 버림 당함을 참으시느니라. And thus the flesh becoming subject to the Spirit, or the Son to the Father, being one God, suffereth temptation, and yieldeth not to the temptation, but suffereth himself to be mocked, and scourged, and cast out, and disowned by his people.
모사 15:6 그리고 이 모든 일 후에, 사람의 자녀들 가운데 능하신 기적을 많이 행하신 후에, 참으로 이사야가 말한 것같이 그가 끌려가시리니, 양이 그 털 깎는 자 앞에서 잠잠한 것같이 그가 그 입을 열지 아니하였도다. And after all this, after working many mighty miracles among the children of men, he shall be led, yea, even as Isaiah said, as a sheep before the shearer is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.
모사 15:7 참으로 이와 같이 그가 끌려 가사, 십자가에 못 박히시고 죽임을 당하시리니, 육체는 참으로 죽기까지 복종하며, 아들의 뜻은 아버지의 뜻 안에 삼키운 바 되리로다. Yea, even so he shall be led, crucified, and slain, the flesh becoming subject even unto death, the will of the Son being swallowed up in the will of the Father.
모사 15:8 이같이 하여 하나님은 사망의 줄을 끊으시고, 사망을 이기고 승리를 얻으사, 아들에게 사람의 자녀들을 위해 중재할 권능을 주시나니 - And thus God breaketh the bands of death, having gained the victory over death; giving the Son power to make intercession for the children of men?
모사 15:9 그는 하늘에 오르사 자비의 심정을 지니시고, 사람의 자녀들에 대한 긍휼로 충만하사, 그들과 공의의 사이에 서시고 사망의 줄을 끊으시고, 그들의 죄악과 그들의 범법을 친히 짊어지시고, 그들을 구속하사 공의의 요구를 충족시키셨느니라. Having ascended into heaven, having the bowels of mercy; being filled with compassion towards the children of men; standing betwixt them and justice; having broken the bands of death, taken upon himself their iniquity and their transgressions, having redeemed them, and satisfied the demands of justice.
모사 15:10 그러므로 이제 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 누가 그의 세대를 선포하겠느냐? 보라, 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 그의 영혼이 죄를 위한 제물이 되었을 때에 그가 그의 씨를 볼지니라. 그러면 이제 너희가 무엇이라 하겠느냐? 누가 그의 씨가 되겠느냐? And now I say unto you, who shall declare his generation? Behold, I say unto you, that when his soul has been made an offering for sin he shall see his seed. And now what say ye? And who shall be his seed?
모사 15:11 보라 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 누구든지 선지자들 참으로 주의 오심에 관하여 예언한 모든 거룩한 선지자들의 말씀을 들은 자 - 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 그들의 말에 귀를 기울이고, 주께서 그 백성을 구속하실 것을 믿으며, 그들의 죄사함을 위해 그 날을 고대한 자들 모두가, 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이들이 그의 씨라, 달리 말하자면 이들이 하나님의 왕국의 상속자들이니라. Behold I say unto you, that whosoever has heard the words of the prophets, yea, all the holy prophets who have prophesied concerning the coming of the Lord? say unto you, that all those who have hearkened unto their words, and believed that the Lord would redeem his people, and have looked forward to that day for a remission of their sins, I say unto you, that these are his seed, or they are the heirs of the kingdom of God.
모사 15:12 이는 바로 이들의 죄를 그가 담당하셨음이요, 바로 이들을 위하여 그가 죽으사 그들을 그들의 범법으로부터 구속하고자 하셨음이니, 이제 그들이 그의 씨가 아니겠느냐? For these are they whose sins he has borne; these are they for whom he has died, to redeem them from their transgressions. And now, are they not his seed?
모사 15:13 이뿐 아니라 그 입을 열어 예언하며, 범법에 빠지지 아니한 모든 선지자들, 즉 세상이 시작된 이래의 모든 거룩한 선지자들이 그의 씨가 아니냐? 내가 너희에게 이르노니 그들은 그의 씨니라. Yea, and are not the prophets, every one that has opened his mouth to prophesy, that has not fallen into transgression, I mean all the holy prophets ever since the world began? I say unto you that they are his seed.
모사 15:14 또 이들은 평화를 공포한 자들이요, 선한 것의 좋은 소식을 가져온 자들이요, 구원을 공포하고 시온에게 이르기를, 네 하나님이 통치하신다 라고 한 자들이라. And these are they who have published peace, who have brought good tidings of good, who have published salvation; and said unto Zion: Thy God reigneth!
모사 15:15 오 그들의 발이 산 위에서 어찌 그리 아름다웠던고! And O how beautiful upon the mountains were their feet!
모사 15:16 또 아직도 평화를 공포하고 있는 자들의 발이 산 위에서 어찌 그리 아름다운고! And again, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those that are still publishing peace!
모사 15:17 그리고 또 이후로 참으로 이때로부터 영원을 두고 평화를 공포할 자들의 발이 산 위에서 어찌 그리 아름다운고! And again, how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who shall hereafter publish peace, yea, from this time henceforth and forever!
모사 15:18 또 보라, 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이것이 모두가 아니라. 오 좋은 소식을 가져오시는 이시요, 화평을 세우신 이 곧 참으로 자기 백성을 구속하신 주시요, 자기 백성에게 구원을 주신 이의 발이 산 위에서 어찌 그리 아름다운고. And behold, I say unto you, this is not all. For O how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that is the founder of peace, yea, even the Lord, who has redeemed his people; yea, him who has granted salvation unto his people;
모사 15:19 이는 그가 자기 백성을 위하여 행하신 바 세상의 기초가 놓이던 때로부터 예비된 구속이 아니었다면, 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이것이 아니었다면 모든 인류는 반드시 멸망하였을 것임이라. For were it not for the redemption which he hath made for his people, which was prepared from the foundation of the world, I say unto you, were it not for this, all mankind must have perished.
모사 15:20 그러나 보라, 사망의 줄이 끊어질 것이요, 아들이 다스리시며 죽은 자들에 대한 권능을 가지셨나니, 그러므로 그가 죽은 자의 부활을 이루시느니라. But behold, the bands of death shall be broken, and the Son reigneth, and hath power over the dead; therefore, he bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead.
모사 15:21 이에 부활, 곧 첫째 부활이 오나니, 참으로 이제까지 있었던 자들과 지금 있는 자들과 장차 곧 그리스도의 부활의 때까지 있을 자들의 부활이라 - 그리스도라 함은 그렇게 그가 칭함을 받으시겠음이라. And there cometh a resurrection, even a first resurrection; yea, even a resurrection of those that have been, and who are, and who shall be, even until the resurrection of Christ?or so shall he be called.
모사 15:22 또 이제 모든 선지자들의 부활이니, 그들의 말을 믿은 모든 자들, 곧 하나님의 계명을 지킨 모든 자들이 첫째 부활에 나아오리라. 그러므로 그들은 첫째 부활이니라. And now, the resurrection of all the prophets, and all those that have believed in their words, or all those that have kept the commandments of God, shall come forth in the first resurrection; therefore, they are the first resurrection.
모사 15:23 그들은 일으킴을 받아 그들을 구속하신 하나님과 함께 거하게 되나니, 이리하여 그들은 사망의 줄을 끊으신 그리스도를 통하여 영생을 갖느니라. They are raised to dwell with God who has redeemed them; thus they have eternal life through Christ, who has broken the bands of death.
모사 15:24 또 이들은 첫째 부활에 참여하는 자들이요. 이들은 그리스도가 오시기 전에 구원이 그들에게 선포되지 아니하여 무지한 가운데 죽은 자들이라. 그리하여 주께서 이들의 회복을 이루시나니, 이에 그들이 주께 구속함을 받아 첫째 부활에 참여하며 곧 영생을 얻느니라. And these are those who have part in the first resurrection; and these are they that have died before Christ came, in their ignorance, not having salvation declared unto them. And thus the Lord bringeth about the restoration of these; and they have a part in the first resurrection, or have eternal life, being redeemed by the Lord.
모사 15:25 그리고 어린아이들이 또한 영생을 갖느니라. And little children also have eternal life.
모사 15:26 그러나 보라, 그리고 두려워하며 하나님 앞에 떨지어다. 이는 너희가 떨어야 마땅함이니, 주께서는 그를 거역하고 자기 죄 가운데서 죽는 그러한 자들을 아무도 구속하지 아니하심이라. 참으로 곧 세상이 시작된 이래로 자기 죄 가운데 멸망한 자, 하나님을 고의로 거역한 자, 하나님의 계명을 알면서도 그를 지키려 하지 아니한 모든 자니, 이들이 첫째 부활에 참여하지 못하는 자들이니라. But behold, and fear, and tremble before God, for ye ought to tremble; for the Lord redeemeth none such that rebel against him and die in their sins; yea, even all those that have perished in their sins ever since the world began, that have wilfully rebelled against God, that have known the commandments of God, and would not keep them; these are they that have no part in the first resurrection.
모사 15:27 그러므로 너희가 떨어야 마땅하지 아니하냐? 이는 구원이 그러한 자에게 오지 아니함이니, 이는 주께서 그러한 자를 구속하지 아니하셨음이라. 그뿐 아니라 주께서 그러한 자를 구속하실 수도 없으시니, 이는 그가 자기를 부인하실 수 없음이요, 공의가 그 요구를 가질 때 공의를 부인할 수 없으심이니라. Therefore ought ye not to tremble? For salvation cometh to none such; for the Lord hath redeemed none such; yea, neither can the Lord redeem such; for he cannot deny himself; for he cannot deny justice when it has its claim.
모사 15:28 또 이제 내가 너희에게 이르노니 주의 구원이 모든 나라와 족속과 방언과 백성에게 선포될 때가 이르리라. And now I say unto you that the time shall come that the salvation of the Lord shall be declared to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people.
모사 15:29 그러하오이다 주여, 주의 파수꾼들이 그 소리를 높이며 소리를 함께 하여 그들이 노래하오리니, 이는 주께서 시온을 다시 데려오실 때에 그들의 눈이 마주 볼 것임이니이다. Yea, Lord, thy watchmen shall lift up their voice; with the voice together shall they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.
모사 15:30 너희 예루살렘의 황폐한 곳들이여, 소리 높여 기뻐할지어다, 함께 노래할지어다. 이는 주께서 자기 백성을 위로하시고 예루살렘을 구속하셨음이라. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
모사 15:31 주께서 만국의 눈에 그 거룩한 팔을 드러내셨으니, 땅의 모든 끝이 우리 하나님의 구원을 보리로다. The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
