| 이더 11:1 | 또한 콤의 시대에 많은 선지자들이 나와서, 그 큰 백성이 회개하고 주께로 돌이켜 그들의 살인과 간악함을 버리지 아니할진대, 그들이 멸망당할 것을 예언하였더라. | And there came also in the days of Com many prophets, and prophesied of the destruction of that great people except they should repent, and turn unto the Lord, and forsake their murders and wickedness. |
| 이더 11:2 | 그러나 이렇게 되었나니 선지자들이 백성들에게 배척당하고, 콤에게로 피하여 보호를 구하였으니, 이는 백성들이 그들을 멸하기를 꾀하였음이라. | And it came to pass that the prophets were rejected by the people, and they fled unto Com for protection, for the people sought to destroy them. |
| 이더 11:3 | 이에 저들이 콤에게 많은 것을 예언하였고, 그는 그 여생 동안 내내 복을 받았더라. | And they prophesied unto Com many things; and he was blessed in all the remainder of his days. |
| 이더 11:4 | 이에 그가 장수하며 시블롬을 낳으매, 시블롬이 그의 대신에 다스렸으나, 시블롬의 형제가 저를 대적하여 모반한지라, 그 온 땅에 심히 큰 전쟁이 시작되었더라. | And he lived to a good old age, and begat Shiblom; and Shiblom reigned in his stead. And the brother of Shiblom rebelled against him, and there began to be an exceedingly great war in all the land. |
| 이더 11:5 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 시블롬의 형제가 백성들의 멸망을 예언한 모든 선지자를 사형에 처하게 하였더라. | And it came to pass that the brother of Shiblom caused that all the prophets who prophesied of the destruction of the people should be put to death; |
| 이더 11:6 | 또 온 땅에는 큰 재난이 있었으니, 이는 저들이, 백성들이 회개하지 아니하면, 그 땅과 또한 그 백성 위에 큰 저주가 임할 것과 또 지상에 결코 있지 아니하였던 큰 멸망이 그들 가운데 있어, 그들의 뼈가 지면 위에 흙무더기같이 될 것임을 증거했었음이라. | And there was great calamity in all the land, for they had testified that a great curse should come upon the land, and also upon the people, and that there should be a great destruction among them, such an one as never had been upon the face of the earth, and their bones should become as heaps of earth upon the face of the land except they should repent of their wickedness. |
| 이더 11:7 | 그러나 그들이 그들의 간악한 결사로 인하여 주의 음성에 귀를 기울이지 아니하였나니, 그리하여 그 온 땅에 전쟁과 다툼이 일어나기 시작하였고, 또한 많은 기근과 역병이 임하기 시작하여, 이윽고 큰 멸망이 있으매, 그 같은 것이 지상에 결코 알려진 적이 없던 것이었으니, 이 모든 일이 시블롬의 시대에 일어났더라. | And they hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord, because of their wicked combinations; wherefore, there began to be wars and contentions in all the land, and also many famines and pestilences, insomuch that there was a great destruction, such an one as never had been known upon the face of the earth; and all this came to pass in the days of Shiblom. |
| 이더 11:8 | 이에 백성들이 그들의 죄악을 회개하기 시작하매, 그들이 회개할진대 주께서는 그들에게 자비를 베풀어 주셨더라. | And the people began to repent of their iniquity; and inasmuch as they did the Lord did have mercy on them. |
| 이더 11:9 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 시블롬이 죽임을 당하였고, 셋이 사로잡힌 바 되어 그 평생을 사로잡힌 중에 거하였더라. | And it came to pass that Shiblom was slain, and Seth was brought into captivity, and did dwell in captivity all his days. |
| 이더 11:10 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 그의 아들 에이하가 나라를 얻고 저의 평생에 백성을 다스렸으되, 저가 자기 시대에 온갖 죄악을 행하여 그로써 많은 피를 흘렸으며, 저의 날 수는 얼마 되지 아니하였더라. | And it came to pass that Ahah, his son, did obtain the kingdom; and he did reign over the people all his days. And he did do all manner of iniquity in his days, by which he did cause the shedding of much blood; and few were his days. |
| 이더 11:11 | 또 이뎀이 에이하의 후예로 나라를 얻었으나, 저도 자기 시대에 간악한 일을 행하였더라. | And Ethem, being a descendant of Ahah, did obtain the kingdom; and he also did do that which was wicked in his days. |
| 이더 11:12 | 이에 이렇게 되었나니 이뎀의 시대에 많은 선지자들이 나와서 백성들에게 또다시 예언하였으니, 참으로 그들이 그 죄악을 회개하지 아니하면 주께서 그들을 지면에서 온전히 멸하실 것을 예언하였더라. | And it came to pass that in the days of Ethem there came many prophets, and prophesied again unto the people; yea, they did prophesy that the Lord would utterly destroy them from off the face of the earth except they repented of their iniquities. |
| 이더 11:13 | 그러나 이렇게 되었나니 백성들이 자기 마음을 완악하게 하고, 저들의 말에 귀 기울이고자 아니하는지라. 선지자들이 애통해 하며 백성 중에서 물러나니라. | And it came to pass that the people hardened their hearts, and would not hearken unto their words; and the prophets mourned and withdrew from among the people. |
| 이더 11:14 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 이뎀이 그 평생에 간악함으로 판결하였고, 또 저가 모론을 낳았더라. 또 이렇게 되었나니 모론이 그의 대신에 다스리되, 모론이 주 앞에 간악한 일을 행하였더라. | And it came to pass that Ethem did execute judgment in wickedness all his days; and he begat Moron. And it came to pass that Moron did reign in his stead; and Moron did that which was wicked before the Lord. |
| 이더 11:15 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 권력과 이익을 얻기 위하여 세워진 저 비밀 결사로 인하여, 백성 가운데 반란이 일어났고, 죄악 중에 그들 가운데 한 용맹한 자가 일어나 모론을 대적하여 싸우더니, 이 싸움에서 저가 나라의 절반을 전복하였고 이에 저가 여러 해 동안 나라의 절반을 지켰더라. | And it came to pass that there arose a rebellion among the people, because of that secret combination which was built up to get power and gain; and there arose a mighty man among them in iniquity, and gave battle unto Moron, in which he did overthrow the half of the kingdom; and he did maintain the half of the kingdom for many years. |
| 이더 11:16 | 그러나 이렇게 되었나니 모론이 저를 타도하고 다시 나라를 얻었더라. | And it came to pass that Moron did overthrow him, and did obtain the kingdom again. |
| 이더 11:17 | 그리고 이렇게 되었나니 다른 용맹한 자가 일어났으니, 저는 야렛의 형제의 후예더라. | And it came to pass that there arose another mighty man; and he was a descendant of the brother of Jared. |
| 이더 11:18 | 이에 이렇게 되었나니 저가 모론을 폐하고 나라를 얻은지라, 이러므로 모론이 그 남은 평생을 사로잡힌 가운데 거하였고, 저가 코리앤토어를 낳았더라. | And it came to pass that he did overthrow Moron and obtain the kingdom; wherefore, Moron dwelt in captivity all the remainder of his days; and he begat Coriantor. |
| 이더 11:19 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 코리앤토어가 그 평생을 사로잡힌 가운데 거하였더라. | And it came to pass that Coriantor dwelt in captivity all his days. |
| 이더 11:20 | 또 코리앤토어의 시대에 또한 많은 선지자들이 나와서 크고 기이한 일들을 예언하며, 백성들에게 회개를 부르짖고, 그들이 회개하지 아니하면 주 하나님께서 그들을 심판하사 그들을 온전히 멸하실 것이요, | And in the days of Coriantor there also came many prophets, and prophesied of great and marvelous things, and cried repentance unto the people, and except they should repent the Lord God would execute judgment against them to their utter destruction; |
| 이더 11:21 | 또 주 하나님께서는 그들의 조상들을 인도하셨던 대로, 그의 권능으로 다른 백성을 보내사, 또는 인도하사 그 땅을 차지하게 하실 것이라 하였더라. | And that the Lord God would send or bring forth another people to possess the land, by his power, after the manner by which he brought their fathers. |
| 이더 11:22 | 그러나 그들은 그들의 비밀 단체와 간악한 가증함으로 인하여 선지자들의 모든 말씀을 배척하였더라. | And they did reject all the words of the prophets, because of their secret society and wicked abominations. |
| 이더 11:23 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 코리앤토어가 이더를 낳고, 그 평생을 사로잡힌 가운데 거하다가 죽었더라. | And it came to pass that Coriantor begat Ether, and he died, having dwelt in captivity all his days. |
