소개 스바 여왕이 솔로몬을 방문. 솔로몬의 명성이 온땅에 퍼짐. The queen of Sheba visits Solomon—His wealth and wisdom exceed those of all the kings of the earth.

 
왕상 10:1 스바의 여왕이 여호와의 이름으로 말미암은 솔로몬의 명성을 듣고 와서 어려운 문제로 그를 시험하고자 하여 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

 
왕상 10:2 예루살렘에 이르니 수행하는 자가 심히 많고 향품과 심히 많은 금과 보석을 낙타에 실었더라 그가 솔로몬에게 나아와 자기 마음에 있는 것을 다 말하매 And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

 
왕상 10:3 솔로몬이 그가 묻는 말에 다 대답하였으니 왕이 알지 못하여 대답하지 못한 것이 하나도 없었더라 And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.

 
왕상 10:4 스바의 여왕이 솔로몬의 모든 지혜와 그 건축한 왕궁과 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built,

 
왕상 10:5 그 상의 식물과 그의 신하들의 좌석과 그의 시종들이 시립한 것과 그들의 관복과 술 관원들과 여호와의 성전에 올라가는 층계를 보고 크게 감동되어 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

 
왕상 10:6 왕께 말하되 내가 내 나라에서 당신의 행위와 당신의 지혜에 대하여 들은 소문이 사실이로다 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.

 
왕상 10:7 내가 그 말들을 믿지 아니하였더니 이제 와서 친히 본즉 내게 말한 것은 절반도 못되니 당신의 지혜와 복이 내가 들은 소문보다 더하도다 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

 
왕상 10:8 복되도다 당신의 사람들이여 복되도다 당신의 이 신하들이여 항상 당신 앞에 서서 당신의 지혜를 들음이로다 Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

 
왕상 10:9 당신의 하나님 여호와를 송축할지로다 여호와께서 당신을 기뻐하사 이스라엘 왕위에 올리셨고 여호와께서 영원히 이스라엘을 사랑하시므로 당신을 세워 왕으로 삼아 정의와 공의를 행하게 하셨도다 하고 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.

 
왕상 10:10 이에 그가 금 일백이십 달란트와 심히 많은 향품과 보석을 왕에게 드렸으니 스바의 여왕이 솔로몬 왕에게 드린 것처럼 많은 향품이 다시 오지 아니하였더라 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.

 
왕상 10:11 오빌에서부터 금을 실어온 히람의 배들이 오빌에서 많은 백단목과 보석을 운반하여 오매 And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.

 
왕상 10:12 왕이 백단목으로 여호와의 성전과 왕궁의 난간을 만들고 또 노래하는 자를 위하여 수금과 비파를 만들었으니 이같은 백단목은 전에도 온 일이 없었고 오늘까지도 보지 못하였더라 And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king’s house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day.

 
왕상 10:13 솔로몬 왕이 왕의 규례대로 스바의 여왕에게 물건을 준 것 외에 또 그의 소원대로 구하는 것을 주니 이에 그가 그의 신하들과 함께 본국으로 돌아갔더라 And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.

 
왕상 10:14 솔로몬의 세입금의 무게가 금 육백육십육 달란트요 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,

 
왕상 10:15 그 외에 또 상인들과 무역하는 객상과 아라비아의 모든 왕들과 나라의 고관들에게서도 가져온지라 Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the traffick of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country.

 
왕상 10:16 솔로몬 왕이 쳐서 늘인 금으로 큰 방패 이백 개를 만들었으니 매 방패에 든 금이 육백 세겔이며 And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target.

 
왕상 10:17 또 쳐서 늘인 금으로 작은 방패 삼백 개를 만들었으니 매 방패에 든 금이 삼 마네라 왕이 이것들을 레바논 나무 궁에 두었더라 And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

 
왕상 10:18 왕이 또 상아로 큰 보좌를 만들고 정금으로 입혔으니 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold.

 
왕상 10:19 그 보좌에는 여섯 층계가 있고 보좌 뒤에 둥근 머리가 있고 앉는 자리 양쪽에는 팔걸이가 있고 팔걸이 곁에는 사자가 하나씩 서 있으며 The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind: and there were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.

 
왕상 10:20 또 열두 사자가 있어 그 여섯 층계 좌우편에 서 있으니 어느 나라에도 이같이 만든 것이 없었더라 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.

 
왕상 10:21 솔로몬 왕이 마시는 그릇은 다 금이요 레바논 나무 궁의 그릇들도 다 정금이라 은 기물이 없으니 솔로몬의 시대에 은을 귀히 여기지 아니함은 And all king Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

 
왕상 10:22 왕이 바다에 다시스 배들을 두어 히람의 배와 함께 있게 하고 그 다시스 배로 삼 년에 한 번씩 금과 은과 상아와 원숭이와 공작을 실어 왔음이더라 For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

 
왕상 10:23 솔로몬 왕의 재산과 지혜가 세상의 그 어느 왕보다 큰지라 So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.

 
왕상 10:24 온 세상 사람들이 다 하나님께서 솔로몬의 마음에 주신 지혜를 들으며 그의 얼굴을 보기 원하여 And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

 
왕상 10:25 그들이 각기 예물을 가지고 왔으니 곧 은 그릇과 금 그릇과 의복과 갑옷과 향품과 말과 노새라 해마다 그리하였더라 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

 
왕상 10:26 솔로몬이 병거와 마병을 모으매 병거가 천사백 대요 마병이 만이천 명이라 병거성에도 두고 예루살렘 왕에게도 두었으며 And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem.

 
왕상 10:27 왕이 예루살렘에서 은을 돌 같이 흔하게 하고 백향목을 평지의 뽕나무 같이 많게 하였더라 And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycomore trees that are in the vale, for abundance.

 
왕상 10:28 솔로몬의 말들은 애굽에서 들여왔으니 왕의 상인들이 값주고 산 것이며 And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

 
왕상 10:29 애굽에서 들여온 병거는 한 대에 은 육백 세겔이요 말은 한 필에 백오십 세겔이라 이와 같이 헷 사람의 모든 왕과 아람 왕들에게 그것들을 되팔기도 하였더라 And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring them out by their means.
