소개	예후가 바아사와 그의 집안에 불길한 예언을 함. 엘라, 시므리, 오므리, 아합이 사악한 중에 통치함. 시므리가 바아사의 집안을 멸함. 아합은 이세벨과 결혼하여 바알을 섬김으로 주의 노여움을 삼.	Jehu prophesies evil upon Baasha and his house—Elah, Zimri, Omri, and Ahab each reign in wickedness—Zimri destroys house of Baasha—Ahab marries Jezebel, worships Baal, and provokes the Lord to anger.
왕상 16:1	여호와의 말씀이 하나니의 아들 예후에게 임하여 바아사를 꾸짖어 이르시되	Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,
왕상 16:2	내가 너를 티끌에서 들어 내 백성 이스라엘 위에 주권자가 되게 하였거늘 네가 여로보암의 길로 행하며 내 백성 이스라엘에게 범죄하게 하여 그들의 죄로 나를 노엽게 하였은즉	Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;
왕상 16:3	내가 너 바아사와 네 집을 쓸어버려 네 집이 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 집 같이 되게 하리니	Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
왕상 16:4	바아사에게 속한 자가 성읍에서 죽은즉 개가 먹고 그에게 속한 자가 들에서 죽은즉 공중의 새가 먹으리라 하셨더라	Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.
왕상 16:5	바아사의 남은 사적과 행한 모든 일과 권세는 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐	Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
왕상 16:6	바아사가 그의 조상들과 함께 자매 디르사에 장사되고 그의 아들 엘라가 대신하여 왕이 되니라	So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.
왕상 16:7	여호와의 말씀이 하나니의 아들 선지자 예후에게도 임하사 바아사와 그의 집을 꾸짖으심은 그가 여로보암의 집과 같이 여호와 보시기에 모든 악을 행하며 그의 손의 행위로 여호와를 노엽게 하였음이며 또 그의 집을 쳤음이더라	And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.
왕상 16:8	유다의 아사 왕 제이십육년에 바아사의 아들 엘라가 디르사에서 이스라엘의 왕이 되어 이 년 동안 그 왕위에 있으니라	In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.
왕상 16:9	엘라가 디르사에 있어 왕궁 맡은 자 아르사의 집에서 마시고 취할 때에 그 신하 곧 병거 절반을 통솔한 지휘관 시므리가 왕을 모반하여	And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
왕상 16:10	시므리가 들어가서 그를 쳐죽이고 그를 대신하여 왕이 되니 곧 유다의 아사 왕 제이십칠년이라	And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.
왕상 16:11	시므리가 왕이 되어 왕위에 오를 때에 바아사의 온 집안 사람들을 죽이되 남자는 그의 친족이든지 그의 친구든지 한 사람도 남기지 아니하고	And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
왕상 16:12	바아사의 온 집을 멸하였는데 선지자 예후를 통하여 바아사를 꾸짖어 하신 여호와의 말씀 같이 되었으니	Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,
왕상 16:13	이는 바아사의 모든 죄와 그의 아들 엘라의 죄 때문이라 그들이 범죄하고 또 이스라엘에게 범죄하게 하여 그들의 헛된 것들로 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 노하시게 하였더라	For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
왕상 16:14	엘라의 남은 사적과 행한 모든 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐	Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
왕상 16:15	유다의 아사 왕 제이십칠년에 시므리가 디르사에서 칠 일 동안 왕이 되니라 그 때에 백성들이 블레셋 사람에게 속한 깁브돈을 향하여 진을 치고 있더니	In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.
왕상 16:16	진 중 백성들이 시므리가 모반하여 왕을 죽였다는 말을 들은지라 그 날에 이스라엘의 무리가 진에서 군대 지휘관 오므리를 이스라엘의 왕으로 삼으매	And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.
왕상 16:17	오므리가 이에 이스라엘의 무리를 거느리고 깁브돈에서부터 올라와서 디르사를 에워 쌌더라	And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
왕상 16:18	시므리가 성읍이 함락됨을 보고 왕궁 요새에 들어가서 왕궁에 불을 지르고 그 가운데에서 죽었으니	And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king’s house, and burnt the king’s house over him with fire, and died,
왕상 16:19	이는 그가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 범죄하였기 때문이니라 그가 여로보암의 길로 행하며 그가 이스라엘에게 죄를 범하게 한 그 죄 중에 행하였더라	For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.
왕상 16:20	시므리의 남은 행위와 그가 반역한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐	Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he wrought, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
왕상 16:21	그 때에 이스라엘 백성이 둘로 나뉘어 그 절반은 기낫의 아들 디브니를 따라 그를 왕으로 삼으려 하고 그 절반은 오므리를 따랐더니	Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.
왕상 16:22	오므리를 따른 백성이 기낫의 아들 디브니를 따른 백성을 이긴지라 디브니가 죽으매 오므리가 왕이 되니라	But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.
왕상 16:23	유다의 아사 왕 제삼십일년에 오므리가 이스라엘의 왕이 되어 십이 년 동안 왕위에 있으며 디르사에서 육 년 동안 다스리니라	In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.
왕상 16:24	그가 은 두 달란트로 세멜에게서 사마리아 산을 사고 그 산 위에 성읍을 건축하고 그 건축한 성읍 이름을 그 산 주인이었던 세멜의 이름을 따라 사마리아라 일컬었더라	And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.
왕상 16:25	오므리가 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하되 그 전의 모든 사람보다 더욱 악하게 행하여	But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.
왕상 16:26	느밧의 아들 여로보암의 모든 길로 행하며 그가 이스라엘에게 죄를 범하게 한 그 죄 중에 행하여 그들의 헛된 것들로 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 노하시게 하였더라	For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
왕상 16:27	오므리가 행한 그 남은 사적과 그가 부린 권세는 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐	Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he shewed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
왕상 16:28	오므리가 그의 조상들과 함께 자매 사마리아에 장사되고 그의 아들 아합이 대신하여 왕이 되니라	So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.
왕상 16:29	유다의 아사 왕 제삼십팔년에 오므리의 아들 아합이 이스라엘의 왕이 되니라 오므리의 아들 아합이 사마리아에서 이십이 년 동안 이스라엘을 다스리니라	And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.
왕상 16:30	오므리의 아들 아합이 그의 이전의 모든 사람보다 여호와 보시기에 악을 더욱 행하여	And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.
왕상 16:31	느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄를 따라 행하는 것을 오히려 가볍게 여기며 시돈 사람의 왕 엣바알의 딸 이세벨을 아내로 삼고 가서 바알을 섬겨 예배하고	And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.
왕상 16:32	사마리아에 건축한 바알의 신전 안에 바알을 위하여 제단을 쌓으며	And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
왕상 16:33	또 아세라 상을 만들었으니 그는 그 이전의 이스라엘의 모든 왕보다 심히 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 노하시게 하였더라	And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
왕상 16:34	그 시대에 벧엘 사람 히엘이 여리고를 건축하였는데 그가 그 터를 쌓을 때에 맏아들 아비람을 잃었고 그 성문을 세울 때에 막내 아들 스굽을 잃었으니 여호와께서 눈의 아들 여호수아를 통하여 하신 말씀과 같이 되었더라	In his days did Hiel the Beth-elite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.
