Jesus Christ did show himself unto the people of Nephi, as the multitude were gathered together in the land Bountiful, and did minister unto them; and on this wise did he show himself unto them. Comprising chapters 11 to 26 inclusive. |

| 3니 11:1 | 그리고 이제 이렇게 되었나니 니파이 백성의 큰 무리가 풍요 땅에 있는 성전 주위에 함께 모여, 서로 기이히 여기며 놀라워하며, 일어난 크고 기이한 변화를 서로에게 보이더라. | And now it came to pass that there were a great multitude gathered together, of the people of Nephi, round about the temple which was in the land Bountiful; and they were marveling and wondering one with another, and were showing one to another the great and marvelous change which had taken place. |
| 3니 11:2 | 또한 그 죽으심에 관한 표적이 주어진 이 예수 그리스도에 대하여 이야기하더라. | And they were also conversing about this Jesus Christ, of whom the sign had been given concerning his death. |
| 3니 11:3 | 그리고 그들이 이같이 서로 이야기를 나누고 있을 때, 마치 하늘로부터 나는 듯한 음성을 듣고, 그 눈을 들어 주위를 둘러보았으니, 이는 그들이 그 들은 음성을 깨닫지 못하였음이라. 그것은 거친 음성도 아니요 큰 음성도 아니었으나 그럼에도 불구하고 또 그것은 작은 음성이었음에도 불구하고 듣는 이들의 중심까지 꿰뚫는지라, 그들의 몸에 떨리지 아니한 부분이 없었으니, 참으로 그 음성은 그들의 영혼에까지 파고들어 그들의 마음을 뜨겁게 하였더라. | And it came to pass that while they were thus conversing one with another, they heard a voice as if it came out of heaven; and they cast their eyes round about, for they understood not the voice which they heard; and it was not a harsh voice, neither was it a loud voice; nevertheless, and notwithstanding it being a small voice it did pierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn. |
| 3니 11:4 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 그들이 다시 그 음성을 들었으나 그것을 깨닫지 못하였음이라. | And it came to pass that again they heard the voice, and they understood it not. |
| 3니 11:5 | 다시 세 번째로 그 음성을 듣고 이를 듣고자 그들의 귀를 여니, 그들의 눈은 그 소리를 향하였고, 소리가 나는 하늘을 향하여 그들이 주목하였더라. | And again the third time they did hear the voice, and did open their ears to hear it; and their eyes were towards the sound thereof; and they did look steadfastly towards heaven, from whence the sound came. |
| 3니 11:6 | 그리고 보라, 세 번째 그들이 그 듣는 음성을 깨달았으니, 그 음성이 그들에게 이르시되, | And behold, the third time they did understand the voice which they heard; and it said unto them: |
| 3니 11:7 | 내 사랑하는 아들을 보라, 이는 내 기뻐하는 자요, 그로 말미암아 내가 내 이름을 영광스럽게 하였노라 - 너희는 그의 말을 들으라 하시더라. | Behold my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified my name-hear ye him. |
| 3니 11:8 | 이에 이렇게 되었나니, 그들이 깨닫고 하늘을 향하여 그들의 눈을 다시 드니, 보라, 그들이 본즉 한 사람이 하늘로부터 하강하는데 흰 옷을 입으셨더라. 그가 내려오사 그들 가운데 서시매, 온 무리의 눈이 그에게로 향하였으나, 그들이 감히 서로에게라도 그 입을 열지 못하였고, 그것이 무엇을 뜻하는지 알지 못하였으니, 이는 그들은 그들에게 나타난 것이 천사라 생각하였음이더라. | And it came to pass, as they understood they cast their eyes up again towards heaven; and behold, they saw a Man descending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe; and he came down and stood in the midst of them; and the eyes of the whole multitude were turned upon him, and they durst not open their mouths, even one to another, and wist not what it meant, for they thought it was an angel that had appeared unto them. |
| 3니 11:9 | 이에 이렇게 되었나니 그가 그 손을 내미시며 백성들에게 일러 이르시되, | And it came to pass that he stretched forth his hand and spake unto the people, saying: |
| 3니 11:10 | 보라, 나는 선지자들이 세상에 오리라고 증거한 예수 그리스도라. | Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world. |
| 3니 11:11 | 보라, 나는 세상의 빛이요 생명이라, 아버지께서 내게 주신 저 쓴 잔을 마시고 세상의 죄를 짊어져 아버지를 영화롭게 하였노니, 이로 말미암아 태초로부터 모든 일에 아버지의 뜻을 담당하였느니라. | And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning. |
| 3니 11:12 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시매 무리가 다 땅에 엎드렸으니, 이는 그리스도께서 그의 승천 후에 그들에게 자기를 보이시리라고 그들 중에 예언되었음을 그들이 기억하였음이라. | And it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words the whole multitude fell to the earth; for they remembered that it had been prophesied among them that Christ should show himself unto them after his ascension into heaven. |
| 3니 11:13 | 이에 이렇게 되었나니 주께서 그들에게 일러 이르시되, | And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto them saying: |
| 3니 11:14 | 일어나 내게로 나아와서 너희 손을 내 옆구리에 넣어 보고, 또 내 손과 내 발의 못 자국을 만져 보아 내가 이스라엘의 하나님이요, 온 땅의 하나님이며, 세상의 죄를 위하여 죽임을 당하였음을 알지어다. | Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world. |
| 3니 11:15 | 이에 이렇게 되었나니 무리가 나아갔느니라. 그리고 그들의 손을 그의 옆구리에 넣어 보았느니라. 또 그의 손과 그의 발의 못 자국을 만져 보았으니, 그들이 이를 행하되 하나씩 나아가 이윽고 그들이 모두 나아 가기까지 그리하였느니라. 또한 그들의 눈으로 보고 그들의 손으로 만져 보았으매, 그가 선지자들이 오시리라고 기록한 그이심을 분명히 알고 증거하였느니라. | And it came to pass that the multitude went forth, and thrust their hands into his side, and did feel the prints of the nails in his hands and in his feet; and this they did do, going forth one by one until they had all gone forth, and did see with their eyes and did feel with their hands, and did know of a surety and did bear record, that it was he, of whom it was written by the prophets, that should come. |
| 3니 11:16 | 또 그들이 모두 나아가 스스로 목격한 후에 그들이 일제히 큰 소리로 외쳐 이르되, | And when they had all gone forth and had witnessed for themselves, they did cry out with one accord, saying: |
| 3니 11:17 | 호산나! 지극히 높으신 하나님의 이름에 복이 있도다! 하고 그들이 예수의 발에 엎드려, 그를 경배하였느니라. | Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God! And they did fall down at the feet of Jesus, and did worship him. |
| 3니 11:18 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 예수께서 니파이에게 말씀하시고 (이는 니파이가 무리 중에 있었음이라) 저에게 명하사 나아오라 하시더라. | And it came to pass that he spake unto Nephi (for Nephi was among the multitude) and he commanded him that he should come forth. |
| 3니 11:19 | 이에 니파이가 일어나 나아가서 주 앞에 절하고, 그의 발에 입을 맞추었더라. | And Nephi arose and went forth, and bowed himself before the Lord and did kiss his feet. |
| 3니 11:20 | 이에 주께서 저에게 명하사 일어나라 하신대, 저가 일어나 주 앞에 섰더라. | And the Lord commanded him that he should arise. And he arose and stood before him. |
| 3니 11:21 | 이에 주께서 저에게 이르시되, 내가 네게 권능을 주노니 내가 다시 하늘로 올라간 후에 너는 이 백성에게 침례를 베풀라 하시더라. | And the Lord said unto him: I give unto you power that ye shall baptize this people when I am again ascended into heaven. |
| 3니 11:22 | 다시 주께서 다른 자들을 부르사, 그들에게도 마찬가지로 이르시고, 침례를 베풀 권능을 그들에게 주셨느니라. 또 그들에게 이르시되, 너희는 이같이 침례를 베풀어 너희 가운데 논쟁이 없도록 하라. | And again the Lord called others, and said unto them likewise; and he gave unto them power to baptize. And he said unto them: On this wise shall ye baptize; and there shall be no disputations among you. |
| 3니 11:23 | 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 너희의 말을 통하여 자기 죄를 회개하고 내 이름으로 침례 받기를 원하거든, 이같이 너희는 그들에게 침례를 줄지니 - 보라, 너희는 물에 내려가 서서, 내 이름으로 그들에게 침례를 줄지니라. | Verily I say unto you, that whoso repenteth of his sins through your words, and desireth to be baptized in my name, on this wise shall ye baptize them-Behold, ye shall go down and stand in the water, and in my name shall ye baptize them. |
| 3니 11:24 | 또 이제 보라, 너희가 할 말은 이러하니라, 그들의 이름을 부르며 말하기를, | And now behold, these are the words which ye shall say, calling them by name, saying: |
| 3니 11:25 | 예수 그리스도에게서 권세를 받아, 나는 아버지와 아들과 성신의 이름으로 그대에게 침례를 주노라. 아멘. | Having authority given me of Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. |
| 3니 11:26 | 그러고 나서 너희는 그들을 물에 잠기게 하였다가, 물 밖으로 다시 나오게 할지니라. | And then shall ye immerse them in the water, and come forth again out of the water. |
| 3니 11:27 | 이에 이같이 너희는 내 이름으로 침례를 줄지니라. 이는 보라, 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 아버지와 아들과 성신은 하나임이라, 내가 아버지 안에 있고 아버지께서 내 안에 계시매 아버지와 나는 하나니라. | And after this manner shall ye baptize in my name; for behold, verily I say unto you, that the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one; and I am in the Father, and the Father in me, and the Father and I are one. |
| 3니 11:28 | 그리고 내가 너희에게 명한 대로 그같이 너희는 침례를 베풀어, 지금까지 있어온 것 같은 논쟁이 너희 가운데 없게 하고, 나의 교리의 요점에 관하여서도 지금까지 있어온 것 같은 논쟁이 너희 가운데 없게 하라. | And according as I have commanded you thus shall ye baptize. And there shall be no disputations among you, as there have hitherto been; neither shall there be disputations among you concerning the points of my doctrine, as there have hitherto been. |
| 3니 11:29 | 이는 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르거니와, 다투는 정신을 가진 자는 내게 속한 자가 아니요 분쟁의 아비인 악마에게 속한 자임이라, 그가 사람들의 마음을 충동하여 서로 노여움으로 다투게 하는도다. | For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another. |
| 3니 11:30 | 보라, 노여움으로 사람들의 마음을 충동하여 서로 대적하게 하는 이것은 나의 교리가 아니요, 그러한 일을 없이 하는 이것이 나의 교리이니라. | Behold, this is not my doctrine, to stir up the hearts of men with anger, one against another; but this is my doctrine, that such things should be done away. |
| 3니 11:31 | 보라, 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 내가 너희에게 나의 교리를 선포하리로다. | Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, I will declare unto you my doctrine. |
| 3니 11:32 | 또 이것이 나의 교리요, 이는 아버지께서 내게 주신 교리라, 내가 아버지를 증거하고, 아버지는 나를 증거하시며, 성신은 아버지와 나를 증거하시나니, 나는 아버지께서 모든 사람에게 어디에 있든지 회개하고 나를 믿을 것을 명하심을 증거하노라. | And this is my doctrine, and it is the doctrine which the Father hath given unto me; and I bear record of the Father, and the Father beareth record of me, and the Holy Ghost beareth record of the Father and me; and I bear record that the Father commandeth all men, everywhere, to repent and believe in me. |
| 3니 11:33 | 또 누구든지 나를 믿고 침례를 받는 자, 그는 구원을 얻으리니, 하나님의 나라를 기업으로 얻을 자들이 그들이리라. | And whoso believeth in me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved; and they are they who shall inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 3니 11:34 | 또 나를 믿지 아니하고, 침례를 받지 아니하는 자는 정죄를 받으리라. | And whoso believeth not in me, and is not baptized, shall be damned. |
| 3니 11:35 | 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이것이 나의 교리요, 나는 이것이 아버지께로부터 온 것임을 증거하노라. 또 누구든지 나를 믿는 자는 또한 아버지를 믿나니, 그에게 아버지께서는 나를 증거하시리로다. 이는 아버지께서 불과 성신으로 그를 방문하실 것임이라. | Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and I bear record of it from the Father; and whoso believeth in me believeth in the Father also; and unto him will the Father bear record of me, for he will visit him with fire and with the Holy Ghost. |
| 3니 11:36 | 또 이와 같이 아버지께서는 나를 증거하시고, 성신은 그에게 아버지와 나를 증거하시리니, 아버지와, 나와, 성신은 하나임이니라. | And thus will the Father bear record of me, and the Holy Ghost will bear record unto him of the Father and me; for the Father, and I, and the Holy Ghost are one. |
| 3니 11:37 | 또 거듭 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 너희는 반드시 회개하고, 어린아이와 같이 되어, 나의 이름으로 침례를 받아야 하나니, 그렇지 않고서는 너희가 결단코 이러한 것들을 받을 수 없느니라. | And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name, or ye can in nowise receive these things. |
| 3니 11:38 | 그리고 거듭 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 너희는 반드시 회개하고, 나의 이름으로 침례를 받고, 어린아이와 같이 되어야 하나니, 그렇지 않고서는 너희가 결단코 하나님의 나라를 기업으로 얻을 수 없느니라. | And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 3니 11:39 | 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이는 나의 교리라, 누구든지 이 위에 세우는 자는 나의 반석 위에 세우는 자니, 지옥의 문이 그들을 이기지 못할 것이라. | Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them. |
| 3니 11:40 | 또 누구든지 이보다 더 많거나 적게 선포하여, 이를 나의 교리로 세울진대, 그는 악에서 오는 자요, 나의 반석 위에 세워지지 아니한 자라, 그는 모래의 기초 위에 세우는 자니, 홍수가 나고 바람이 그들에게 부딪칠 때에 지옥의 문이 열려 있어 그러한 자들을 받으리라. | And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, the same cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock; but he buildeth upon a sandy foundation, and the gates of hell stand open to receive such when the floods come and the winds beat upon them. |
| 3니 11:41 | 그러므로 이 백성에게 나아가, 내가 이른 말을 땅 끝까지 선포하라. | Therefore, go forth unto this people, and declare the words which I have spoken, unto the ends of the earth. |
