소개 예수께서 모세의 율법이 자기 안에서 이루어졌음을 공포하심 - 니파이인들은 그가 예루살렘에서 말씀하신 다른 양임 - 죄악으로 인하여, 예루살렘에 있는 주의 백성은 이스라엘의 흩어진 양에 대하여 알지 못함. 주후 34년경. Jesus announces that the law of Moses is fulfilled in him—The Nephites are the other sheep of whom he spake in Jerusalem—Because of iniquity the Lord’s people in Jerusalem do not know of the scattered sheep of Israel. [A.D. 34]
3니 15:1 그리고 이제 이렇게 되었나니 예수께서 이 말씀을 마치시고 나서 눈을 들어 무리를 둘러보시고, 그들에게 이르시되, 볼지어다, 내가 내 아버지께로 올라가기 전에 가르친 바를 너희가 들었으니, 그러므로 누구든지 나의 이 말을 기억하여 행하는 자는 내가 그를 마지막 날에 일으키리라. And now it came to pass that when Jesus had ended these sayings he cast his eyes round about on the multitude, and said unto them: Behold, ye have heard the things which I taught before I ascended to my Father; therefore, whoso remembereth these sayings of mine and doeth them, him will I raise up at the last day.
3니 15:2 또 이렇게 되었나니 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 나서 그들 중에 기이히 여기며, 모세의 율법에 관하여 무엇을 원하실까 하고 생각하는 자들이 있음을 아셨으니, 이는 그들이 옛것이 지나가고 모든 것이 새로워졌다 하신 말씀을 깨닫지 못하였음이라. And it came to pass that when Jesus had said these words he perceived that there were some among them who marveled, and wondered what he would concerning the law of Moses; for they understood not the saying that old things had passed away, and that all things had become new.
3니 15:3 이에 그들에게 이르시되 내가 너희에게 말하기를 옛 것이 지나가고, 모든 것이 새로워졌다 한 것을 기이히 여기지 말라. And he said unto them: Marvel not that I said unto you that old things had passed away, and that all things had become new.
3니 15:4 보라, 내가 너희에게 이르노니 모세에게 준 바 되었던 율법은 이제 이루어졌느니라. Behold, I say unto you that the law is fulfilled that was given unto Moses.
3니 15:5 보라, 내가 곧 율법을 준 그요, 내가 곧 나의 백성 이스라엘과 성약한 그로라. 그러므로 율법이 내 안에서 이루어졌나니, 이는 내가 율법을 이루려 왔음이라. 그러므로 율법은 끝났느니라. Behold, I am he that gave the law, and I am he who covenanted with my people Israel; therefore, the law in me is fulfilled, for I have come to fulfil the law; therefore it hath an end.
3니 15:6 보라, 내가 선지자들을 폐하지 아니하노니, 이는 내 안에서 이루어지지 아니한 모든 것이, 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르거니와, 다 이루어질 것임이니라. Behold, I do not destroy the prophets, for as many as have not been fulfilled in me, verily I say unto you, shall all be fulfilled.
3니 15:7 또 내가 너희에게 이르기를 옛것이 지나갔다 하였음으로 인하여, 장차 이를 일에 관하여 말한 것을 폐하지 아니하는도다. And because I said unto you that old things have passed away, I do not destroy that which hath been spoken concerning things which are to come.
3니 15:8 이는 보라, 내가 내 백성과 맺은 성약이 다 이루어지지 아니하였고, 다만 모세에게 주었던 율법이 내 안에서 끝났음이라. For behold, the covenant which I have made with my people is not all fulfilled; but the law which was given unto Moses hath an end in me.
3니 15:9 보라, 내가 율법이요 빛이니, 나를 바라보고 끝까지 견디라. 그리하면 너희가 살리니, 이는 끝까지 견디는 그에게 내가 영생을 주겠음이라. Behold, I am the law, and the light. Look unto me, and endure to the end, and ye shall live; for unto him that endureth to the end will I give eternal life.
3니 15:10 보라, 내가 너희에게 계명을 주었노니, 그러므로 내 계명을 지키라. 이것이 율법이요 선지자니, 이는 이들이 진실로 나를 증거하였음이니라. Behold, I have given unto you the commandments; therefore keep my commandments. And this is the law and the prophets, for they truly testified of me.
3니 15:11 그리고 이제 이렇게 되었나니, 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 나서 그 택하신 열둘에게 이르시되, And now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words, he said unto those twelve whom he had chosen:
3니 15:12 너희는 내 제자요, 너희는 요셉 집의 남은 자들인 이 백성의 빛이니라. Ye are my disciples; and ye are a light unto this people, who are a remnant of the house of Joseph.
3니 15:13 또 보라, 이는 너희의 기업의 땅이요 아버지께서 이를 너희에게 주셨도다. And behold, this is the land of your inheritance; and the Father hath given it unto you.
3니 15:14 그리고 어느 때에라도 아버지께서 이를 예루살렘에 있는 너희 형제에게 말하라고 내게 명하신 일이 없었도다. And not at any time hath the Father given me commandment that I should tell it unto your brethren at Jerusalem.
3니 15:15 어느 때에라도 아버지께서 그 땅으로부터 인도해 내신 이스라엘 집의 다른 지파에 관하여서도 그들에게 말하라고 내게 명하신 일이 없었도다. Neither at any time hath the Father given me commandment that I should tell unto them concerning the other tribes of the house of Israel, whom the Father hath led away out of the land.
3니 15:16 이만큼 아버지께서 내게 명하사 그들에게 이르라 하셨나니, This much did the Father command me, that I should tell unto them:
3니 15:17 곧 이 무리에 들지 아니한 다른 양들이 내게 있어 저들도 내가 인도하여야 할 터이니, 저들이 내 음성을 듣고 한 무리가 되어 한 목자에게 있으리라 한 것이라. That other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
3니 15:18 그러나 이제 목이 뻣뻣함과 믿지 않음으로 인하여 그들이 내 말을 깨닫지 못하는지라, 그러므로 내가 그들에게 이 일에 관하여 더 이상 말하지 말도록 아버지로부터 명하심을 받았느니라. And now, because of stiffneckedness and unbelief they understood not my word; therefore I was commanded to say no more of the Father concerning this thing unto them.
3니 15:19 그러나 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 아버지께서 내게 명하신지라, 내가 이를 너희에게 이르거니와 그들의 죄악으로 인하여 너희는 그들 중에서 갈라져 나왔나니 그러므로 그들이 너희에 대하여 알지 못함은 그들의 죄악으로 인함이니라. But, verily, I say unto you that the Father hath commanded me, and I tell it unto you, that ye were separated from among them because of their iniquity; therefore it is because of their iniquity that they know not of you.
3니 15:20 또 진실로 내가 거듭 너희에게 이르거니와 아버지께서 다른 지파들도 그들에게서 갈라 놓으셨으되, 그들이 저들에 대하여 알지 못함은 그들의 죄악으로 인함이니라. And verily, I say unto you again that the other tribes hath the Father separated from them; and it is because of their iniquity that they know not of them.
3니 15:21 또 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희는 내가 말하기를, 이 무리에 들지 아니한 다른 양들이 내게 있어 그들도 내가 인도하여야 할 터이니 그들이 내 음성을 듣고 한 무리가 되어 한 목자에게 있으리라 한 그 양이라. And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
3니 15:22 그러나 그들이 내 말을 깨닫지 못하였으니, 이는 그것이 이방인들을 가리키는 것인 줄 그들이 생각하였음이라. 이는 이방인들이 그들의 전도를 통하여 돌이키게 될 것임을 그들이 깨닫지 못하였음이니라. And they understood me not, for they supposed it had been the Gentiles; for they understood not that the Gentiles should be converted through their preaching.
3니 15:23 또 그들은 내 말 곧 그들이 내 음성을 들으리라고 한 말을 깨닫지 못하였나니, 그들은 어느 때라도 이방인들이 내 음성을 듣지 못할 것을 - 곧 성신으로 말미암지 않고서는 내가 그들에게 나를 나타내지 아니할 것임을 깨닫지 못하였느니라. And they understood me not that I said they shall hear my voice; and they understood me not that the Gentiles should not at any time hear my voice-that I should not manifest myself unto them save it were by the Holy Ghost.
3니 15:24 그러나 보라, 너희는 내 음성을 들었고, 또 나를 보았나니, 너희는 나의 양이라, 너희는 아버지께서 내게 주신 자들 가운데 헤아림을 받았느니라. But behold, ye have both heard my voice, and seen me; and ye are my sheep, and ye are numbered among those whom the Father hath given me.
