| 소개 | 예수께서 기적으로 떡과 포도주를 마련하시고 다시 백성들에게 성찬을 베푸심 - 야곱의 남은 자들은 주 그들의 하나님의 지식에 이르게 되고 미 대륙을 기업으로 얻을 것임 - 예수는 모세와 같은 선지자이시며, 니파이인들은 선지자들의 자손임 - 주의 백성 중 다른 자들은 예루살렘으로 모이게 될 것임. 주후 34년경. | Jesus provides bread and wine miraculously and again administers the sacrament unto them—The remnant of Jacob shall come to the knowledge of the Lord their God and shall inherit the Americas—Jesus is the prophet like unto Moses, and the Nephites are children of the prophets—Others of the Lord’s people shall be gathered to Jerusalem. [A.D. 34] |
| 3니 20:1 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 예수께서 무리에게 명하사 기도하기를 그치게 하시고, 그의 제자들에게도 그리하셨더라. 또 그들에게 명하사 그들의 마음으로는 기도하기를 그치지 말게 하셨느니라. | And it came to pass that he commanded the multitude that they should cease to pray, and also his disciples. And he commanded them that they should not cease to pray in their hearts. |
| 3니 20:2 | 또 그들에게 일어나 그들의 발로 설 것을 명하시매, 그들이 일어나서 그들의 발로 섰느니라. | And he commanded them that they should arise and stand up upon their feet. And they arose up and stood upon their feet. |
| 3니 20:3 | 이에 이렇게 되었나니 예수께서 다시 떡을 떼어 축복하시고, 제자들에게 주어 먹게 하시더라. | And it came to pass that he brake bread again and blessed it, and gave to the disciples to eat. |
| 3니 20:4 | 또 그들이 먹은 후에 그들에게 명하사 떡을 떼어, 무리에게 주라 하셨느니라. | And when they had eaten he commanded them that they should break bread, and give unto the multitude. |
| 3니 20:5 | 또 그들이 무리에게 주기를 다하매, 예수께서 또한 포도주를 그들에게 주어 마시게 하시고, 그들에게 명하사 무리에게 주라 하셨느니라. | And when they had given unto the multitude he also gave them wine to drink, and commanded them that they should give unto the multitude. |
| 3니 20:6 | 이제 제자들이나 무리가 가져온 떡이나 포도주가 없었더라. | Now, there had been no bread, neither wine, brought by the disciples, neither by the multitude; |
| 3니 20:7 | 그러나 예수께서 진실로 그들에게 떡을 주어 먹게 하시고, 또한 포도주를 주어 마시게 하셨느니라. | But he truly gave unto them bread to eat, and also wine to drink. |
| 3니 20:8 | 그러고 나서 그들에게 이르시되, 이 떡을 먹는 자는 자기 영혼을 위하여 나의 몸을 먹는 것이요, 이 잔을 마시는 자는 자기 영혼을 위하여 나의 피를 마시는 것이니, 그러므로 그의 영혼이 결코 주리거나 목마르지 아니하고 충만하리라 하시더라. | And he said unto them: He that eateth this bread eateth of my body to his soul; and he that drinketh of this wine drinketh of my blood to his soul; and his soul shall never hunger nor thirst, but shall be filled. |
| 3니 20:9 | 이제 무리가 다 먹고 마신 후에, 보라, 그들이 영으로 충만하게 된지라, 한 목소리로 크게 외치며, 그들이 보기도 하고 듣기도 한 예수께 영광을 돌리더라. | Now, when the multitude had all eaten and drunk, behold, they were filled with the Spirit; and they did cry out with one voice, and gave glory to Jesus, whom they both saw and heard. |
| 3니 20:10 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 그들이 모두 예수께 영광을 돌리고 나자, 예수께서 그들에게 이르셨으되, 보라, 이제 내가 이스라엘 집의 남은 자인 이 백성에 관하여 아버지께서 내게 명하신 그 계명을 마저 다 이루노라. | And it came to pass that when they had all given glory unto Jesus, he said unto them: Behold now I finish the commandment which the Father hath commanded me concerning this people, who are a remnant of the house of Israel. |
| 3니 20:11 | 너희는 내가 이사야의 말이 이루어질 때라고 너희에게 말하며 이른 것을 기억하나니 - 보라, 그의 말이 기록되어 너희 앞에 있은즉, 그러므로 그것을 상고하라 - | Ye remember that I spake unto you, and said that when the words of Isaiah should be fulfilled-behold they are written, ye have them before you, therefore search them- |
| 3니 20:12 | 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이사야의 말이 이루어질 때, 그때에, 오 이스라엘의 집이여, 아버지께서 그의 백성에게 세우신 성약이 이루어지리로다. | And verily, verily, I say unto you, that when they shall be fulfilled then is the fulfilling of the covenant which the Father hath made unto his people, O house of Israel. |
| 3니 20:13 | 또 지면에 널리 흩어질 남은 자들이 그때, 동에서와 서에서, 또 남에서와 북에서 모여들어, 그들을 구속하신 주 그들의 하나님에 대한 지식에 이르게 되리라. | And then shall the remnants, which shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth, be gathered in from the east and from the west, and from the south and from the north; and they shall be brought to the knowledge of the Lord their God, who hath redeemed them. |
| 3니 20:14 | 또 아버지께서는 너희 기업으로 이 땅을 너희에게 줄 것을 내게 명하셨느니라. | And the Father hath commanded me that I should give unto you this land, for your inheritance. |
| 3니 20:15 | 또 내가 너희에게 이르거니와 만일 이방인들이 그들이 받게 될 축복 이후에, 그들이 내 백성을 흩은 후에 회개하지 아니하면 - | And I say unto you, that if the Gentiles do not repent after the blessing which they shall receive, after they have scattered my people- |
| 3니 20:16 | 그때 야곱 집의 한 남은 자인 너희가 그들 중에 나아갈 것인즉, 너희는 수많은 그들 가운데 있으리니, 너희가 그들 중에 있음은 수풀의 짐승들 중의 사자 같고, 양 떼 중의 젊은 사자 같아서, 만일 지나간즉 밟고 찢으리니 능히 건질 자가 없으리라. | Then shall ye, who are a remnant of the house of Jacob, go forth among them; and ye shall be in the midst of them who shall be many; and ye shall be among them as a lion among the beasts of the forest, and as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goeth through both treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. |
| 3니 20:17 | 네 손이 네 대적들 위에 들리리니, 네 모든 원수가 끊어지리라. | Thy hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off. |
| 3니 20:18 | 또 내가 내 백성을 함께 모으기를, 사람이 자기의 곡식 단을 타작 마당에 모음같이 하리라. | And I will gather my people together as a man gathereth his sheaves into the floor. |
| 3니 20:19 | 이는 내가 아버지께서 더불어 성약을 세우신 내 백성을, 참으로 내가 네 뿔을 철이 되게 하며, 네 굽을 놋이 되게 할 것임이라. 또 네가 많은 백성을 쳐서 깨뜨릴 것인즉, 내가 그들의 소득을 성별하여 주께 드리고, 그들의 재물을 성별하여 온 땅의 주께 드리리라. 보라, 이를 행하는 자는 나이니라. | For I will make my people with whom the Father hath covenanted, yea, I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass. And thou shalt beat in pieces many people; and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. And behold, I am he who doeth it. |
| 3니 20:20 | 또 이렇게 되리니, 아버지께서 말씀하시느니라, 그 날에 나의 공의의 칼이 그들 위에 걸려 있으리니, 그들이 회개하지 아니하면 그것이 그들 위에, 참으로 이방의 모든 나라 위에 떨어지리라. 아버지께서 말씀하시느니라. | And it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that the sword of my justice shall hang over them at that day; and except they repent it shall fall upon them, saith the Father, yea, even upon all the nations of the Gentiles. |
| 3니 20:21 | 그리고 이렇게 되리니 이스라엘의 집이여, 내가 내 백성을 굳게 세우리로다. | And it shall come to pass that I will establish my people, O house of Israel. |
| 3니 20:22 | 또 보라, 이 백성을 내가 이 땅에 세워 내가 너희 조상 야곱과 세운 성약을 이루리니, 이 땅은 새 예루살렘이 될 것이요, 하늘의 권능이 이 백성 가운데 있으리라. 참으로 내가 너희 가운데 있으리라. | And behold, this people will I establish in this land, unto the fulfilling of the covenant which I made with your father Jacob; and it shall be a New Jerusalem. And the powers of heaven shall be in the midst of this people; yea, even I will be in the midst of you. |
| 3니 20:23 | 보라, 나는 모세가 일러 이르되, 주 너희 하나님께서 나와 같은 선지자 하나를 너희 형제 중에서 너희를 위하여 일으키시리니, 무엇이든지 그가 너희에게 이르는 모든 일에 너희는 그를 들을지니라. 무릇 그 선지자를 듣지 아니하는 자마다 다 백성 중에서 끊어지리라 한 그이니라. | Behold, I am he of whom Moses spake, saying: A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass that every soul who will not hear that prophet shall be cut off from among the people. |
| 3니 20:24 | 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 사무엘로부터 그 뒤를 따라 말한 모든 선지자들도 내게 대하여 증거하였느니라. | Verily I say unto you, yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have testified of me. |
| 3니 20:25 | 보라, 너희는 선지자들의 자손이요, 이스라엘 집에 속한 자요, 또 아버지께서 너희 조상들과 더불어 세우신 성약에 속한 자라. 아브라함에게 이르시기를 네 씨로 말미암아 땅의 모든 족속이 복을 받으리라 하셨느니라. | And behold, ye are the children of the prophets; and ye are of the house of Israel; and ye are of the covenant which the Father made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham: And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. |
| 3니 20:26 | 아버지께서 먼저 너희를 위하여 나를 일으키시고, 너희에게 복 주시려고 나를 보내사 너희 모든 자로 하여금 각각 그 죄악에서 돌이켜 떠나게 하셨으니, 이는 너희가 성약의 자손임으로 말미암음이라 - | The Father having raised me up unto you first, and sent me to bless you in turning away every one of you from his iniquities; and this because ye are the children of the covenant- |
| 3니 20:27 | 또 너희가 복을 받은 후에 그때 아버지께서 아브라함과 세우신 성약을 이루시리니, 이르시되, 네 씨로 말미암아 땅의 모든 족속이 복을 받으리라 하신 것이라 - 이에 나를 통하여 이방인들에게 성신을 부어 주시기에 이르리니, 이스라엘의 집이여, 이방인들에게 임하는 복이 그들로 만인 위에 용사가 되게 하여 내 백성을 흩기에 이르리로다. | And after that ye were blessed then fulfilleth the Father the covenant which he made with Abraham, saying: In thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed-unto the pouring out of the Holy Ghost through me upon the Gentiles, which blessing upon the Gentiles shall make them mighty above all, unto the scattering of my people, O house of Israel. |
| 3니 20:28 | 또 그들이 이 땅의 백성에게 채찍이 되려니와, 그럼에도 불구하고 그들이 내 복음의 충만함을 받고 나서, 그때 만일 그들이 나를 대하여 그 마음을 완악하게 할진대, 내가 그들의 죄악이 그들의 머리 위에 돌아가게 하리로다, 아버지께서 말씀하시느니라. | And they shall be a scourge unto the people of this land. Nevertheless, when they shall have received the fulness of my gospel, then if they shall harden their hearts against me I will return their iniquities upon their own heads, saith the Father. |
| 3니 20:29 | 그리고 내가 내 백성과 더불어 세운 성약을 기억하리니, 내가 그들과 성약하기를 나의 정한 때에 내가 그들을 함께 모으고, 그들의 조상들의 땅을 다시 그들에게 주어 그들의 기업을 삼게 하리라 하였도다. 이는 예루살렘 땅이니 영원히 그들에게 약속된 땅이니라, 아버지께서 말씀하시느니라. | And I will remember the covenant which I have made with my people; and I have covenanted with them that I would gather them together in mine own due time, that I would give unto them again the land of their fathers for their inheritance, which is the land of Jerusalem, which is the promised land unto them forever, saith the Father. |
| 3니 20:30 | 또 이렇게 되리니 곧 내 복음의 충만함이 그들에게 전파될 때가 이르면, | And it shall come to pass that the time cometh, when the fulness of my gospel shall be preached unto them; |
| 3니 20:31 | 또 그들이 나를, 곧 내가 하나님의 아들 예수 그리스도임을 믿고, 내 이름으로 아버지께 기도할 것이라. | And they shall believe in me, that I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and shall pray unto the Father in my name. |
| 3니 20:32 | 그때 그들의 파수꾼들이 그 소리를 높이며, 소리를 합하여 그들이 노래하리니, 이는 그들의 눈과 눈이 마주 봄이로다. | Then shall their watchmen lift up their voice, and with the voice together shall they sing; for they shall see eye to eye. |
| 3니 20:33 | 그때 아버지께서 그들을 다시 함께 모으시고, 그들의 기업의 땅으로 예루살렘을 그들에게 주실 것이라. | Then will the Father gather them together again, and give unto them Jerusalem for the land of their inheritance. |
| 3니 20:34 | 그때 그들이 기쁨을 발하리니 - 너희 예루살렘의 황폐한 곳들아, 함께 노래하라. 이는 아버지께서 그 백성을 위로하셨고 그가 예루살렘을 구속하셨음이라. | Then shall they break forth into joy-Sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the Father hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. |
| 3니 20:35 | 아버지께서 열방의 눈에 그 거룩한 팔을 드러내셨으므로, 땅의 모든 끝이 아버지의 구원을 보리니, 아버지와 나는 하나니라. | The Father hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of the Father; and the Father and I are one. |
| 3니 20:36 | 또 그때 기록된 것이 이루어지리니, 시온이여, 깰지어다. 다시 깨어 네 힘을 입을지어다. 거룩한 성, 예루살렘이여, 네 아름다운 옷을 입을지어다. 이제부터 할례 받지 않은 자와 부정한 자가 다시는 네게로 들어옴이 없을 것임이니라. | And then shall be brought to pass that which is written: Awake, awake again, and put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city, for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. |
| 3니 20:37 | 너는 티끌을 떨어버릴지어다. 예루살렘이여, 일어나 앉을지어다. 사로잡힌 시온의 딸아, 네 목의 줄을 스스로 풀어 버릴지어다. | Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. |
| 3니 20:38 | 이는 이같이 주께서 말씀하심이라, 너희가 아무것도 아닌 것을 위하여 스스로를 팔았으니, 너희가 돈없이 속량 되리라. | For thus saith the Lord: Ye have sold yourselves for naught, and ye shall be redeemed without money. |
| 3니 20:39 | 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 내 백성은 내 이름을 알리라. 참으로 그 날에 그들은 내가 곧 말하는 그인 줄 알리로다. | Verily, verily, I say unto you, that my people shall know my name; yea, in that day they shall know that I am he that doth speak. |
| 3니 20:40 | 또 그때 그들이 말하기를, 그들에게 좋은 소식을 가져오며, 평화를 공포하며, 그들에게 복된 좋은 소식을 가져오며, 구원을 공포하며, 시온을 향하여 이르기를, 네 하나님이 통치하신다 하는 자의 발이 산 위에서 어찌 그리 아름다운고 할 것이요, | And then shall they say: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings unto them, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings unto them of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion: Thy God reigneth! |
| 3니 20:41 | 또 그때 한 외침이 나아가기를, 너희는 떠날지어다. 너희는 떠날지어다. 너희는 거기서 나가고 부정한 것을 만지지 말지어다. 그 가운데서 나갈지어다. 주의 기구를 메는 너희여, 깨끗할지어다. | And then shall a cry go forth: Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch not that which is unclean; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord. |
| 3니 20:42 | 이는 주께서 너희 앞에 행하시며, 이스라엘의 하나님이 너희의 후위가 되실 것이므로, 너희가 황급히 나가지 아니하며 도망하여 행하지 아니할 것임이라. | For ye shall not go out with haste nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel shall be your rearward. |
| 3니 20:43 | 보라, 내 종이 지혜롭게 행하리니, 그가 높임을 받고 칭송을 받으며 지극히 존귀하게 되리라. | Behold, my servant shall deal prudently; he shall be exalted and extolled and be very high. |
| 3니 20:44 | 많은 자들이 너를 보고 놀랐음 같이 - 그의 얼굴이 누구보다도 더 많이 상하였고, 그의 모양이 사람의 아들들보다 더 상하였도다 - | As many were astonished at thee-his visage was so marred, more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men- |
| 3니 20:45 | 그와 같이 그가 많은 나라에 뿌릴 것이며, 열왕은 그로 인하여 자기 입을 봉하리니, 이는 그들이 아직 전파되지 아니한 것을 볼 것이요, 듣지 못했던 것을 깨달을 것임이라. | So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him, for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. |
| 3니 20:46 | 진실로 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이 모든 일이 아버지께서 내게 명하신 대로 정녕 이르리라. 그때 아버지께서 그의 백성과 맺으신 이 성약이 이루어질 것이요, 그때 예루살렘에 다시 내 백성이 거하게 되리니, 그 곳이 그들의 기업의 땅이 되리로다. | Verily, verily, I say unto you, all these things shall surely come, even as the Father hath commanded me. Then shall this covenant which the Father hath covenanted with his people be fulfilled; and then shall Jerusalem be inhabited again with my people, and it shall be the land of their inheritance. |
