조계 12:1	또 땅에 있는 것과 닮은 큰 표적이 하늘에 나타나니 해를 옷 입은 한 여자가 있는데 그 발 아래에 달이 있고 그 머리 위에는 열두 별의 면류관이 있더라.	And there appeared a great sign in heaven, in the likeness of things on the earth; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.
조계 12:2	그리고 이 여자가 아이를 베어 해산하게 되매 아파서 애써 부르짖더니,	And the woman being with child, cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
조계 12:3	또 그가 사내 아이를 낳았으니 장차 쇠막대로 만국을 다스릴 자라. 그 아이가 하나님과 그 보좌 앞으로 올리워 가더라.	And she brought for a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up unto God and his throne.
조계 12:4	그리고 또 다른 표적이 하늘에 나타나는데, 보라, 큰 붉은 용이라. 일곱 머리와 열 뿔을 가졌더라. 그 머리들 위에는 일곱 면류관이 있더라. 또 그 꼬리가 하늘의 별 삼분의 일을 끌어내려 땅에 던지더라. 그리고 그 용이 해산한 그 여자 앞에 서서 그 아이가 태어난 후에 그를 삼키고자 하더니,	And there appeared another sign in heaven; and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman which was delivered, ready to devour her child after it was born.
조계 12:5	또 그 여자가 광야로 도망하매 그 곳에는 하나님이 예비해 두신 처소가 그에게 있어 거기서 그들이 일천이백육십 년 동안 그를 먹이게 되었더라.	And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore years.
조계 12:6	또 하늘에 전쟁이 있으니 미가엘과 그의 사자들이 용에 대적하여 싸울새, 용과 그의 사자들도 미가엘에 대적하여 싸우더라.	And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought against Michael;
조계 12:7	또 용이 미가엘이나 아이나 그 여자를 이기지 못하였으니, 그 여자는 하나님의 교회라, 그가 고통 중에서 해산하여 우리 하나님과 그의 그리스도의 왕국을 낳았느니라.	And the dragon prevailed not against Michael, neither the child, nor the woman which was the church of God, who had been delivered of her pains, and brought forth the kingdom of our God and his Christ.
조계 12:8	큰 용을 위한 처소를 하늘에서 찾지 못하여 그가 내어 쫓기매 옛 뱀 곧 마귀라고도 하고 사탄이라고도 하며 온 천하를 미혹하게 하는 자라. 그가 땅으로 내어 쫓기고, 그의 사자들도 그와 함께 내어 쫓기더라.	Neither was there place found in heaven for the great dragon, who was cast out; that old serpent called the devil, and also called Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into earth; and his angels were cast out with him.
조계 12:9	또 내가 하늘에서 말하는 큰 음성을 들었으니 이르되, 이제 구원과 힘과 우리 하나님의 왕국과 그의 그리스도의 권능이 임하는 도다.	And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ;
조계 12:10	이는 우리 형제들을 참소하던 자 곧 우리 하나님 앞에서 밤낮으로 참소하던 자가 쫓겨났음이니라.	For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
조계 12:11	이는 그들이 어린 양의 피와 그들의 증거하는 말로써 그를 이겼음이라. 이는 그들이 자기 생명을 사랑하지 아니하고 죽기까지 증거를 지켰음이라. 그러므로 하늘들이여, 그 안에 거하는 너희여, 기뻐할지어다.	For they have overcome him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; for they loved not their own lives, but kept the testimony even unto death. Therefore, rejoice O heavens, and ye that dwell in them.
조계 12:12	이 일 후에 내가 또 다른 음성을 들었으니 이르되 땅의 주민들과, 또한 바다의 섬들 위에 거하는 자들에게 화있도다! 이는 마귀가 자기의 때가 얼마 남지 않은 줄을 앎으로 크게 분노하여 너희에게 내려갔음이라.	And after these things I heard another voice saying, Woe to the inhabiters of the earth, yea, and they who dwell upon the islands of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
조계 12:13	이는 용이 자기가 땅으로 내어 쫓긴 것을 보고 사내 아이를 낳은 여자를 박해 하였음이라.	For when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
조계 12:14	그러므로 그 여자가 큰 독수리의 두 날개를 받아 광야로, 그의 처소로 도망하여, 거기서 그 뱀의 낯을 피하여 한 때와 두 때와 반 때를 양육받으니라.	Therefore, to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might flee into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
조계 12:15	또 뱀이 그의 입에서 물을 홍수같이 여자 뒤에서 토하여 여자를 홍수로 떠내려 가게 하려 하더라.	And the serpent casteth out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
조계 12:16	또 땅이 여자를 도우니, 땅이 그 입을 벌려 용이 그 입으로 토한 홍수를 삼키더라.	And the earth helpeth the woman, and the earth openeth her mouth, and swalloweth up the flood which the dragon casteth out of his mouth.
조계 12:17	그러므로, 용이 여자에게 분노하였고, 그 후손의 남은 자, 곧 하나님의 계명을 지키며 예수 그리스도의 증거를 가진 자들과 더불어 싸우려고 갔느니라.	Therefore, the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
