소개 홍수가 그침. 노아가 날려보낸 비둘기가 감람잎을 물고옴. 모든 생물들을 방주에서 내보냄. 희생제물을 바침. 계절과 절기가 분명해짐. The flood ceases—Noah sends forth a dove, which returns with an olive leaf—He releases all living things from the ark—He offers sacrifices—Seedtime and harvest and seasons assured.
창 8:1 하나님이 노아와 그와 함께 방주에 있는 모든 들짐승과 가축을 기억하사 하나님이 바람을 땅 위에 불게 하시매 물이 줄어들었고 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
창 8:2 깊음의 샘과 하늘의 창문이 닫히고 하늘에서 비가 그치매 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
창 8:3 물이 땅에서 물러가고 점점 물러가서 백오십 일 후에 줄어들고 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.
창 8:4 일곱째 달 곧 그 달 열이렛날에 방주가 아라랏 산에 머물렀으며 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
창 8:5 물이 점점 줄어들어 열째 달 곧 그 달 초하룻날에 산들의 봉우리가 보였더라 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
창 8:6 사십 일을 지나서 노아가 그 방주에 낸 창문을 열고 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
창 8:7 까마귀를 내놓으매 까마귀가 물이 땅에서 마르기까지 날아 왕래하였더라 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
창 8:8 그가 또 비둘기를 내놓아 지면에서 물이 줄어들었는지를 알고자 하매 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
창 8:9 온 지면에 물이 있으므로 비둘기가 발 붙일 곳을 찾지 못하고 방주로 돌아와 그에게로 오는지라 그가 손을 내밀어 방주 안 자기에게로 받아들이고 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
창 8:10 또 칠 일을 기다려 다시 비둘기를 방주에서 내놓으매 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
창 8:11 저녁때에 비둘기가 그에게로 돌아왔는데 그 입에 감람나무 새 잎사귀가 있는지라 이에 노아가 땅에 물이 줄어든 줄을 알았으며 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
창 8:12 또 칠 일을 기다려 비둘기를 내놓으매 다시는 그에게로 돌아오지 아니하였더라 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
창 8:13 육백일 년 첫째 달 곧 그 달 초하룻날에 땅 위에서 물이 걷힌지라 노아가 방주 뚜껑을 제치고 본즉 지면에서 물이 걷혔더니 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
창 8:14 둘째 달 스무이렛날에 땅이 말랐더라 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
창 8:15 하나님이 노아에게 말씀하여 이르시되 And God spake unto Noah, saying,
창 8:16 너는 네 아내와 네 아들들과 네 며느리들과 함께 방주에서 나오고 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
창 8:17 너와 함께 한 모든 혈육 있는 생물 곧 새와 가축과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다 이끌어내라 이것들이 땅에서 생육하고 땅에서 번성하리라 하시매 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
창 8:18 노아가 그 아들들과 그의 아내와 그 며느리들과 함께 나왔고 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:
창 8:19 땅 위의 동물 곧 모든 짐승과 모든 기는 것과 모든 새도 그 종류대로 방주에서 나왔더라 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
창 8:20 노아가 여호와께 제단을 쌓고 모든 정결한 짐승과 모든 정결한 새 중에서 제물을 취하여 번제로 제단에 드렸더니 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
창 8:21 여호와께서 그 향기를 받으시고 그 중심에 이르시되 내가 다시는 사람으로 말미암아 땅을 저주하지 아니하리니 이는 사람의 마음이 계획하는 바가 어려서부터 악함이라 내가 전에 행한 것 같이 모든 생물을 다시 멸하지 아니하리니 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
창 8:22 땅이 있을 동안에는 심음과 거둠과 추위와 더위와 여름과 겨울과 낮과 밤이 쉬지 아니하리라 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
