소개 주께서 야곱과 70명의 권속을 애굽으로 가도록 하심. 야곱의 후손의 계보. 요셉이 야곱을 만남. The Lord sends Jacob and his family of seventy souls to Egypt—The generations of Jacob set forth—Joseph meets Jacob.
창 46:1 이스라엘이 모든 소유를 이끌고 떠나 브엘세바에 이르러 그의 아버지 이삭의 하나님께 희생제사를 드리니 And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
창 46:2 그 밤에 하나님이 이상 중에 이스라엘에게 나타나 이르시되 야곱아 야곱아 하시는지라 야곱이 이르되 내가 여기 있나이다 하매 And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
창 46:3 하나님이 이르시되 나는 하나님이라 네 아버지의 하나님이니 애굽으로 내려가기를 두려워하지 말라 내가 거기서 너로 큰 민족을 이루게 하리라 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
창 46:4 내가 너와 함께 애굽으로 내려가겠고 반드시 너를 인도하여 다시 올라올 것이며 요셉이 그의 손으로 네 눈을 감기리라 하셨더라 I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
창 46:5 야곱이 브엘세바에서 떠날새 이스라엘의 아들들이 바로가 그를 태우려고 보낸 수레에 자기들의 아버지 야곱과 자기들의 처자들을 태우고 And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
창 46:6 그들의 가축과 가나안 땅에서 얻은 재물을 이끌었으며 야곱과 그의 자손들이 다함께 애굽으로 갔더라 And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:
창 46:7 이와 같이 야곱이 그 아들들과 손자들과 딸들과 손녀들 곧 그의 모든 자손을 데리고 애굽으로 갔더라 His sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.
창 46:8 애굽으로 내려간 이스라엘 가족의 이름은 이러하니라 야곱과 그의 아들들 곧 야곱의 맏아들 르우벤과 And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.
창 46:9 르우벤의 아들 하녹과 발루와 헤스론과 갈미요 And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
창 46:10 시므온의 아들은 여무엘과 야민과 오핫과 야긴과 스할과 가나안 여인의 아들 사울이요 And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.
창 46:11 레위의 아들은 게르손과 그핫과 므라리요 And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
창 46:12 유다의 아들 곧 엘과 오난과 셀라와 베레스와 세라니 엘과 오난은 가나안 땅에서 죽었고 베레스의 아들은 헤스론과 하물이요 And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.
창 46:13 잇사갈의 아들은 돌라와 부와와 욥과 시므론이요 And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
창 46:14 스불론의 아들은 세렛과 엘론과 얄르엘이니 And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
창 46:15 이들은 레아가 밧단아람에서 야곱에게 난 자손들이라 그 딸 디나를 합하여 남자와 여자가 삼십삼 명이며 These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padan-aram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.
창 46:16 갓의 아들은 시뵨과 학기와 수니와 에스본과 에리와 아로디와 아렐리요 And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
창 46:17 아셀의 아들은 임나와 이스와와 이스위와 브리아와 그들의 누이 세라며 또 브리아의 아들은 헤벨과 말기엘이니 And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.
창 46:18 이들은 라반이 그의 딸 레아에게 준 실바가 야곱에게 낳은 자손들이니 모두 십육 명이라 These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.
창 46:19 야곱의 아내 라헬의 아들 곧 요셉과 베냐민이요 The sons of Rachel Jacob’s wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.
창 46:20 애굽 땅에서 온의 제사장 보디베라의 딸 아스낫이 요셉에게 낳은 므낫세와 에브라임이요 And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.
창 46:21 베냐민의 아들 곧 벨라와 베겔과 아스벨과 게라와 나아만과 에히와 로스와 뭅빔과 훕빔과 아릇이니 And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
창 46:22 이들은 라헬이 야곱에게 낳은 자손들이니 모두 십사 명이요 These are the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls were fourteen.
창 46:23 단의 아들 후심이요 And the sons of Dan; Hushim.
창 46:24 납달리의 아들 곧 야스엘과 구니와 예셀과 실렘이라 And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
창 46:25 이들은 라반이 그의 딸 라헬에게 준 빌하가 야곱에게 낳은 자손들이니 모두 칠 명이라 These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.
창 46:26 야곱과 함께 애굽에 들어간 자는 야곱의 며느리들 외에 육십육 명이니 이는 다 야곱의 몸에서 태어난 자이며 All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob’s sons’ wives, all the souls were threescore and six;
창 46:27 애굽에서 요셉이 낳은 아들은 두 명이니 야곱의 집 사람으로 애굽에 이른 자가 모두 칠십 명이었더라 And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.
창 46:28 야곱이 유다를 요셉에게 미리 보내어 자기를 고센으로 인도하게 하고 다 고센 땅에 이르니 And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
창 46:29 요셉이 그의 수레를 갖추고 고센으로 올라가서 그의 아버지 이스라엘을 맞으며 그에게 보이고 그의 목을 어긋맞춰 안고 얼마 동안 울매 And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
창 46:30 이스라엘이 요셉에게 이르되 네가 지금까지 살아 있고 내가 네 얼굴을 보았으니 지금 죽어도 족하도다 And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.
창 46:31 요셉이 그의 형들과 아버지의 가족에게 이르되 내가 올라가서 바로에게 아뢰어 이르기를 가나안 땅에 있던 내 형들과 내 아버지의 가족이 내게로 왔는데 And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
창 46:32 그들은 목자들이라 목축하는 사람들이므로 그들의 양과 소와 모든 소유를 이끌고 왔나이다 하리니 And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.
창 46:33 바로가 당신들을 불러서 너희의 직업이 무엇이냐 묻거든 And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?
창 46:34 당신들은 이르기를 주의 종들은 어렸을 때부터 지금까지 목축하는 자들이온데 우리와 우리 선조가 다 그러하니이다 하소서 애굽 사람은 다 목축을 가증히 여기나니 당신들이 고센 땅에 살게 되리이다 That ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
