조창 14:25 그리고 멜기세덱이 그 목소리를 높여 아브람을 축복하였더라. And Melchizedek lifted up his voice and blessed Abram.

 
조창 14:26 이제, 멜기세덱은 의를 행하는 신앙의 사람이었나니, 어릴 적에 그는 하나님을 경외하였으며 사자들의 입을 막았으며 불의 세력을 멸하기도 하였더라. Now Melchizedek was a man of faith, who wrought righteousness; and when a child he feared God, and stopped the mouths of lions, and quenched the violence of fire.

 
조창 14:27 또 이같이 하나님에게서 인정을 받아 그는 하나님께서 에녹과 맺으신 성약의 반차를 좇는 대제사장에 성임되었더라. And thus, having been approved of God, he was ordained an high priest after the order of the covenant which God made with Enoch,

 
조창 14:28 이는 하나님의 아들의 반차를 좇은 것이니, 이 반차는 사람으로나 사람의 뜻으로도 온 것이 아니요, 아버지나 어머니로 인한 것도 아니요, 시작하는 날이나 끝나는 해로 말미암은 것도 아니요, 오직 하나님으로 말미암아 왔느니라. It being after the order of the Son of God; which order came, not by man, nor the will of man; neither by father nor mother; neither by beginning of days nor end of years; but of God;

 
조창 14:29 또 이는 하나님이 자신의 음성으로 부르심으로써 그 자신의 뜻에 따라 사람들 곧 그의 이름을 믿는 자 모두에게 주어졌느니라. And it was delivered unto men by the calling of his own voice, according to his own will, unto as many as believed on his name.

 
조창 14:30 이는 하나님이 자기를 가리켜 서약으로써 에녹과 그의 자손에게 맹세하시기를, 이 반차와 부르심을 좇아 성임되는 자마다 신앙으로 말미암아 권능을 가져야 하리니, 이로써 산을 부수며 바다를 가르며 물을 마르게 하며 물을 그 진로에서 돌이키게 하며, For God having sworn unto Enoch and unto his seed with an oath by himself; that every one being ordained after this order and calling should have power, by faith, to break mountains, to divide the seas, to dry up waters, to turn them out of their course;

 
조창 14:31 열국의 군대를 물리치며 땅을 가르며 모든 결박을 끊으며 하나님의 면전에 서며 그의 뜻에 따라, 그의 명령에 따라 모든 것을 행하며 통치자들과 세력들을 복종케 하되, 이는 세상의 기초가 놓이기 전부터 있는 하나님의 아들의 뜻에 의함이니라. To put at defiance the armies of nations, to divide the earth, to break every band, to stand in the presence of God; to do all things according to his will, according to his command, subdue principalities and powers; and this by the will of the Son of God which was from before the foundation of the world.

 
조창 14:32 그리고 이 신앙을 가지고 하나님의 이 반차에 나아 오는 사람들은 변형되어 하늘로 데려가심을 입었느니라. And men having this faith, coming up unto this order of God, were translated and taken up into heaven.

 
조창 14:33 그리고 이제, 멜기세덱은 이 반차의 제사장이었나니, 그러므로, 그는 살렘에서 평화를 얻었고 평강의 왕이라 불렸더라. And now, Melchizedek was a priest of this order; therefore he obtained peace in Salem, and was called the Prince of peace.

 
조창 14:34 그리고 그의 백성은 의를 행하였고 하늘을 얻었으며 하나님이 전에 데려가사 땅에서부터 갈라놓으시고, 후일 곧 세상의 끝을 위하여 보전해 두신 에녹의 도시를 구하였더라. And his people wrought righteousness, and obtained heaven, and sought for the city of Enoch which God had before taken, separating it from the earth, having reserved it unto the latter days, or the end of the world;

 
조창 14:35 그리고 말씀하사 서약으로 맹세하시되, 하늘들과 땅은 함께 할 것이요, 하나님의 아들들은 불로 시험 받는 것같이 시험을 받아야 하리라 하셨더라. And hath said, and sworn with an oath, that the heavens and the earth should come together; and the sons of God should be tried so as by fire.

 
조창 14:36 그리고 이 멜기세덱은 이같이 의를 세우고 그의 백성에 의하여 하늘의 왕 또는 다른 말로 하면 평강의 왕이라 불렸더라. And this Melchizedek, having thus established righteousness, was called the king of heaven by his people, or, in other words, the King of peace.

 
조창 14:37 그리고 그가 그 음성을 높여 아브람을 축복하였으니, 그는 대제사장이요 하나님의 창고를 지키는 자더라, And he lifted up his voice, and he blessed Abram, being the high priest, and the keeper of the storehouse of God;

 
조창 14:38 그를 하나님이 임명하사 가난한 자를 위하여 십일조를 받게 하셨더라. Him whom God had appointed to receive tithes for the poor.

 
조창 14:39 그런즉, 아브람이 그가 가진 모든 것, 곧, 하나님이 그가 필요로 하는 것 이상으로 그에게 주사 그가 소유한 모든 재물의 십일조를 그에게 바쳤더라. Wherefore, Abram paid unto him tithes of all that he had, of all the riches which he possessed, which God had given him more than that which he had need.

 
조창 14:40 그리고 이렇게 되었나니 하나님이 아브람을 축복하사 그가 맺으신 성약에 따라, 또 멜기세덱이 그에게 축복한 그 축복에 따라, 재물과 존귀와 땅을 영원한 소유로 그에게 주셨더라. And it came to pass, that God blessed Abram, and gave unto him riches, and honor, and lands for an everlasting possession; according to the covenant which he had made, and according to the blessing wherewith Melchizedek had blessed him.
