소개	(애굽에서의 요셉의 이 예언 중에 모세, 아론 및 조셉 스미스의 이름이 모두 거론되었음. 또한 요셉은 몰몬경이 유다의 기록과 짝을 이룰 것을 예언하였음.)	Moses, Aaron, and Joseph Smith were all named in this prophecy of Joseph in Egypt. Also, Joseph prophesied that the Book of Mormon would become a companion to the record of Judah.
조창 50:24	요셉이 자기 형제들에게 이르되 나는 죽어 내 조상들에게 가노니, 나는 기쁨으로 내 무덤에 내려가노라. 내 아버지 야곱의 하나님이 너희와 함께 하사 너희 속박의 날에 고난에서 너희를 건져 내시기를 비노라. 이는 주께서 나를 찾아오셨고 내가 주께 한 가지 약속을 얻었음이니, 곧 내 허리의 열매로부터 주 하나님께서 한 의로운 가지를 내 허리에서 너희에게 일으키시고, 내 아버지 야곱이 이스라엘이라 이름한 너를 위하여 선지자 하나를 일으키사, (실로라 부르는 메시야는 아니니), 이 선지자가 너희 속박의날에 나의 백성을 애굽에서 건져내리라.	And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die, and go unto my fathers; and I go down to my grave with joy. The God of my father Jacob be with you, to deliver you out of affliction in the days of your bondage; for the Lord hath visited me, and I have obtained a promise of the Lord, that out of the fruit of my loins, the Lord God will raise up a righteous branch out of my loins; and unto thee, whom my father Jacob hath named Israel, a prophet; (not the Messiah who is called Shilo;) and this prophet shall deliver my people out of Egypt in the days of thy bondage.

And it shall come to pass that they shall be scattered again; and a branch shall be broken off, and shall be carried into a far country; nevertheless they shall be remembered in the covenants of the Lord, when the Messiah cometh; for he shall be made manifest unto them in the latter days, in the Spirit of power; and shall bring them out of darkness into light; out of hidden darkness, and out of captivity unto freedom.

조창 50:27	이같이 내 조상의 주 하나님이 내게 이르시되 뛰어난 선견자 하나를 내가 네 허리의 열매로부터 일으키리니, 그가 네 허리의 열매 가운데서 높이 여김을 받으리라. 또 그에게 내가 명령을 주어 네 허리의 열매, 그의 형제들을 위하여 한 가지 일을 하게 하리라.	Thus saith the Lord God of my fathers unto me, A choice seer will I raise up out of the fruit of thy loins, and he shall be esteemed highly among the fruit of thy loins; and unto him will I give commandment that he shall do a work for the fruit of thy loins, his brethren.
조창 50:28	그리고 그는 내가 너희 조상들과 맺은 성약을 그들에게 알게 할 것이요 또 그는 내가 그에게 명할 일은 무엇이든지 행할 것이니라.	And he shall bring them to the knowledge of the covenants which I have made with thy fathers; and he shall do whatsoever work I shall command him.
조창 50:29	그리고 나는 그를 내 눈에 크게 하리니 이는 그가 나의 일을 할 것임이라. 이스라엘의 집이여, 나의 백성을 애굽 땅에서 건지기 위하여 너희에게 일으키겠다 말한 자와 같이 그는 크게 되리라. 이는 선견자를 내가 일으켜 내 백성을 애굽 땅에서 건져내게 할 것임이니, 그는 모세라 불리리라. 이 이름으로 그가 네 집에 속한 자임을 알리라. 이는 그는 왕의 딸에 의하여 양육될 것이요 딸의 아들이라 불리리라.	And I will make him great in mine eyes, for he shall do my work; and he shall be great like unto him who I have said I would raise up unto you, to deliver my people, O house of Israel, out of the land of Egypt; for a seer will I raise up to deliver my people out of the land of Egypt; and he shall be called Moses. And by this name he shall know that he is of thy house; for he shall be nursed by the king’s daughter, and shall be called her son.
조창 50:30	그리고 또, 한 선견자를 내가 네 허리의 열매로부터 일으켜, 그에게 내가 권능을 주어 네 허리의 자손들에게 나의 말을 가져다 주게 하며, 나의 말을 가져다 줄 뿐만 아니라 마지막 날에 그들 가운데 이미 나아갔을 나의 말을 그들에게 확신시켜 주리라, 주께서 말씀하시느니라.	And again, a seer will I raise up out of the fruit of thy loins, and unto him will I give power to bring forth my word unto the seed of thy loins; and not to the bringing forth of my word only, saith the Lord, but to the convincing them of my word, which shall have already gone forth among them in the last days;
조창 50:31	그런즉 네 허리의 열매가 기록할 것이요 유다의 허리의 열매가 기록할 것이라. 네 허리의 열매에 의해 기록될 것과 또한 유다의 허리의 열매에 의해 기록될 것이 함께 자라 거짓 교리들을 무너뜨리며 다툼을 가라앉히며 네 허리의 열매 가운데 평화를 이루며 후일에 그들로 하여금 그들 조상에 대하여 알게 하고 또한 나의 성약에 대하여 알게 하리라. 주께서 말씀하시니라.	Wherefore the fruit of thy loins shall write, and the fruit of the loins of Judah shall write; and that which shall be written by the fruit of thy loins, and also that which shall be written by the fruit of the loins of Judah, shall grow together unto the confounding of false doctrines, and laying down of contentions, and establishing peace among the fruit of thy loins, and bringing them to a knowledge of their fathers in the latter days; and also to the knowledge of my covenants, saith the Lord.
조창 50:32	또 연약함으로부터 그가 강하게 되리니, 마지막 날에, 나의 일이 나의 모든 백성 가운데 나아갈 그 날에, 이스라엘의 집에 속한 그들을 회복하리라.	And out of weakness shall he be made strong, in that day when my work shall go forth among all my people, which shall restore them, who are of the house of Israel, in the last days.

And that seer will I bless, and they that seek to destroy him shall be confounded; for this promise I give unto you; for I will remember you from generation to generation; and his name shall be called Joseph, and it shall be after the name of his father; and he shall be like unto you; for the thing which the Lord shall bring forth by his hand shall bring my people unto salvation.
조창 50:34	그리고 주께서 요셉에게 그의 자손을 영원히 보전하리라 맹세하며 이르시되, 내가 모세를 일으키리니 막대가 그의 손에 들릴 것이요 그가 내 백성을 함께 모을 것이요 그는 그들을 양 떼같이 인도할 것이요 그는 자기 막대로 홍해의 물을 치리라.	And the Lord sware unto Joseph that he would preserve his seed forever, saying, I will raise up Moses, and a rod shall be in his hand, and he shall gather together my people, and he shall lead them as a flock, and he shall smite the waters of the Red Sea with his rod.
조창 50:35	그리고 그는 재판하는 권능을 가질 것이요 또 주의 말씀을 기록하리라. 또 그는 많은 말을 말하지 않으리라. 이는 내가 내 자신의 손가락으로 나의 율법을 그에게 적어 그에게 써줄 것이며, 그를 위하여 대변자를 주리니 그의 이름은 아론이라 불리리라.	And he shall have judgment, and shall write the word of the Lord. And he shall not speak many words, for I will write unto him my law by the finger of mine own hand. And I will make a spokesman for him, and his name shall be called Aaron.
조창 50:36	그리고 내가 맹세한 것 같이 또한 마지막 날에 네게 이루어지리라. 그러므로 요셉이 그의 형제들에게 이르되 하나님이 정녕 너희를 돌아 보시고 너희를 이 땅에서 인도하여 내사 그가 아브라함에게 또 이삭에게 그리고 야곱에게 맹세하신 그 땅에 이르게 하시리라 하였더라.	And it shall be done unto thee in the last days also, even as I have sworn. Therefore, Joseph said unto his brethren, God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land, unto the land which he sware unto Abraham, and unto Isaac, and to Jacob.
조창 50:37	그리고 요셉이 다른 많은 것들을 그의 형제들에게 확인하여 주며 이스라엘의 자손에게 맹세시켜 이르되 하나님께서 정녕 너희를 돌아보시리니 너희는 내 뼈를 여기에서 메고 올라가겠다 하라.	And Joseph confirmed many other things unto his brethren, and took an oath of the children of Israel, saying unto them, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.
조창 50:38	그리하여 요셉이 백십 세에 죽으매 그들이 그의 몸에 향 재료를 넣고 그를 애굽에서 입관하였더라. 또 그는 이스라엘의 자녀에 의하여 매장되지 아니하였으니 이는 그가 운구되어 자기 부친과 함께 무덤에 놓이게 하려 함이었더라. 이같이 그들이 그에게 맹세한 서약을 기억하였더라.	So Joseph died when he was an hundred and ten years old; and they embalmed him, and they put him in a coffin in Egypt; and he was kept from burial by the children of Israel, that he might be carried up and laid in the sepulchre with his father. And thus they remembered the oath which they sware unto him.
