| 니후 8:1 | 의를 좇는 너희여, 내게 귀를 기울이라. 너희를 떠낸 반석과 너희를 파낸 구덩이의 구멍을 생각해 보라. | Hearken unto me, ye that follow after righteousness. Look unto the rock from whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit from whence ye are digged. |
| 니후 8:2 | 너희 조상 아브라함과 너희를 낳은 그 사라를 생각해 보라. 이는 내가 홀로 아브라함을 불러 그에게 복을 주었음이니라. | Look unto Abraham, your father, and unto Sarah, she that bare you; for I called him alone, and blessed him. |
| 니후 8:3 | 주가 시온을 위로할 것인즉, 그가 그 모든 황폐한 곳을 위로할 것이며, 그의 광야로 에덴 같게 또 그의 사막으로 주의 정원 같게 하리니, 기쁨과 즐거움이 그 안에 있고 감사함과 노래하는 소리가 그 안에 있으리라. | For the Lord shall comfort Zion, he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. |
| 니후 8:4 | 내 백성이여, 내게 귀 기울여 들으라. 내 나라여, 내게 귀를 기울이라. 이는 한 율법이 내게서부터 나아갈 것이요, 내가 내 공의로 하여금 머물러 백성을 위한 빛이 되게 할 것임이니라. | Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation; for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light for the people. |
| 니후 8:5 | 내 의가 가깝고, 내 구원이 나아갔은즉, 내 팔이 백성들을 심판하리니 섬들이 나를 기다릴 것이요, 내 팔에 그들이 의지하리라. |
My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arm shall judge the people. The isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust. |
| 니후 8:6 | 너희 눈을 하늘로 들며, 그 아래 땅을 바라보라. 이는 하늘이 연기같이 사라지고, 땅이 옷같이 해어지며, 그 안에 거하는 자들이 그와 같이 죽을 것임이어니와, 그러나 나의 구원은 영원히 있겠고, 나의 의는 폐하여지지 아니하리라. | Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner. But my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished. |
| 니후 8:7 | 내게 귀 기울여 들으라, 의를 아는 너희여, 그 마음에 내가 내 율법을 기록한 백성이여, 너희는 사람들의 질책을 두려워 말며 그들의 비방을 무서워 말라. | Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart I have written my law, fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. |
| 니후 8:8 | 이는 좀이 그들을 옷같이 먹어치울 것이요, 벌레가 그들을 양털같이 먹을 것임이라. 그러나 나의 의는 영원히 있을 것이요, 나의 구원은 대대로 있으리라. | For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool. But my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation. |
| 니후 8:9 | 깨소서, 깨소서! 주의 팔이여, 힘을 입으소서, 옛날에 깨신 것처럼 하소서. 주는 라합을 베시고 용을 상하게 하신 그이가 아니시니이까? | Awake, awake! Put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake as in the ancient days. Art thou not he that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? |
| 니후 8:10 | 주는 바다를 큰 깊음의 물들을 말리시고, 바다의 깊은 곳을 길로 만드사, 속함을 받은 자들로 건너게 하신 그이가 아니시니이까? | Art thou not he who hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? |
| 니후 8:11 | 그러므로 주께 구속함을 입은 자들이 돌아와서 노래하며 시온으로 올 것이요, 영원한 기쁨과 거룩함이 그들의 머리 위에 있으리니, 그들이 즐거움과 기쁨을 얻을 것이요, 슬픔과 탄식이 달아나리라. | Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy and holiness shall be upon their heads; and they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away. |
| 니후 8:12 | 나는 그니, 참으로 나는 너희를 위로하는 그라. 보라, 너는 누구이기에 죽을 사람을 두려워하며 풀같이 될 사람의 아들을 두려워하느냐? |
I am he; yea, I am he that comforteth you. Behold, who art thou, that thou shouldst be afraid of man, who shall die, and of the son of man, who shall be made like unto grass? |
| 니후 8:13 | 또 하늘들을 펴고 땅의 기초를 놓은 자, 곧 너를 지은 자, 주를 잊으며 억압자의 분노로 인하여, 마치 그가 멸할 준비를 다 갖추기나 한 것처럼 매일 쉬지 않고 두려워하였느냐? 억압자의 분노가 어디 있느냐? | And forgettest the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth, and hast feared continually every day, because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor? |
| 니후 8:14 | 사로잡힌 유배자가 서두르나니 이는 그가 놓이려 함이라. 그가 구덩이에서 죽지 아니할 것이요, 그의 양식이 부족하지도 아니하리라. | The captive exile hasteneth, that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. |
| 니후 8:15 | 그러나 나는 주 네 하나님이니, 그 물결이 소리치게 한 자라 만군의 주가 나의 이름이니라. | But I am the Lord thy God, whose waves roared; the Lord of Hosts is my name. |
| 니후 8:16 | 또 내가 내 말을 네 입에 두고 내 손 그늘로 너를 덮었음은, 내가 하늘들을 세우고 땅의 기초를 놓으며 시온에게 이르기를, 보라, 너는 내 백성이라 하려 하였음이니라. | And I have put my words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion: Behold, thou art my people. |
| 니후 8:17 | 주의 손에서 그의 분노의 잔을 마신 예루살렘이여, 깰지어다, 깰지어다, 일어설지어다 - 네가 비틀어 짠 떨림의 잔의 찌끼를 다 마셨도다 - | Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of his fury-thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling wrung out- |
| 니후 8:18 | 또 그가 낳은 모든 아들 중에 그를 인도할 자가 아무도 없으며, 그가 양육한 모든 아들 중에 그 손을 잡는 자도 없도다. | And none to guide her among all the sons she hath brought forth; neither that taketh her by the hand, of all the sons she hath brought up. |
| 니후 8:19 | 이 두 아들이 네게로 왔으니 이들이 너로 인하여 민망해 하리라. 곧 너의 황폐와 멸망이요 기근과 칼이니, 누구로 내가 너를 위로하랴? | These two sons are come unto thee, who shall be sorry for thee-thy desolation and destruction, and the famine and the sword-and by whom shall I comfort thee? |
| 니후 8:20 | 이 둘 외에 네 아들들은 기진하였도다. 그들이 온 거리의 머리에 있으리니, 그물에 든 들소같이 그들에게 주의 분노와 네 하나님의 견책이 가득하도다. | Thy sons have fainted, save these two; they lie at the head of all the streets; as a wild bull in a net, they are full of the fury of the Lord, the rebuke of thy God. |
| 니후 8:21 | 그러므로 너 고난을 당하고 취하되 포도주로 말미암지 않고도 취한 자여, 이제 이를 들으라. | Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, and not with wine: |
| 니후 8:22 | 이같이 너의 주께서 이르시며 주 곧 네 하나님이 그의 백성을 위해 변호하시느니라. 보라, 내가 떨림의 잔을, 나의 분노의 잔의 찌끼를 네 손에서 취하였나니, 네가 다시는 더 이상 그것을 마시지 아니하리라. | Thus saith thy Lord, the Lord and thy God pleadeth the cause of his people; behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again. |
| 니후 8:23 | 그러나 내가 그것을 너를 괴롭히는 자들의 손에 두리니, 그들은 네 영혼더러 이르기를, 굽히라, 우리가 넘어가리라 하던 자들이라 - 이에 네가 넘어가는 그들에게 네 몸을 뉘어 땅 같게 그리고 거리 같게 하였느니라 | But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; who have said to thy soul: Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground and as the street to them that went over. |
| 니후 8:24 | 시온이여, 깰지어다, 깰지어다, 네 힘을 입을지어다. 거룩한 성 예루살렘이여, 네 아름다운 옷을 입을지어다. 이제부터 할례 받지 아니한 자와 부정한 자들이 더 이상 네게로 들어오지 아니할 것임이니라. | Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. |
| 니후 8:25 | 티끌에서 스스로를 떨어버릴지어다. 예루살렘이여, 일어나 앉을지어다. 사로잡힌 시온의 딸이여, 네 목의 줄에서 스스로를 풀지어다. | Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion. |
