| 소개 | 돌이킨 이방인들은 성약의 백성과 함께 헤아림을 받을 것임 - 많은 레이맨인과 유대인들이 말씀을 믿고 기뻐하심을 입게 될 것임 - 이스라엘은 회복되고 악인은 멸망당할 것임. 주전 559~545년경. | Converted gentiles shall be numbered with the covenant people—Many Lamanites and Jews shall believe the word and become a delightsome people—Israel shall be restored and the wicked destroyed. | 니후 30:1 | 또 이제 보라, 나의 사랑하는 형제들아, 내가 너희에게 말하고자 하노니, 이는 나 니파이는 너희가 장래의 이방인들보다 더 의롭다고 스스로 생각하도록 버려두지 않고자 함이라. 이는 보라, 너희가 하나님의 계명을 지키지 아니할진대, 너희도 다 한가지로 멸망할 것임이라. 또 앞서 하신 말씀으로 인하여, 너희는 이방인들이 온전히 멸망당하였다고 생각하지 말라. | And now behold, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you; for I, Nephi, would not suffer that ye should suppose that ye are more righteous than the Gentiles shall be. For behold, except ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall all likewise perish; and because of the words which have been spoken ye need not suppose that the Gentiles are utterly destroyed. |
| 니후 30:2 | 이는 보라, 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 회개할 이방인들은 모두 주의 성약의 백성이며, 회개하지 아니할 유대인들은 모두 버림을 받을 것임이라. 이는 주께서는 회개하고 이스라엘의 거룩한 자인 그의 아들을 믿는 자들이 아니면 아무와도 성약하지 아니하심이니라. | For behold, I say unto you that as many of the Gentiles as will repent are the covenant people of the Lord; and as many of the Jews as will not repent shall be cast off; for the Lord covenanteth with none save it be with them that repent and believe in his Son, who is the Holy One of Israel. |
| 니후 30:3 | 또 이제 나는 유대인과 이방인들에 관하여 얼마간 더 예언하고자 하노라. 내가 말한 그 책이 나아와, 이방인들을 위하여 기록되고 나서 주께 인봉된 후에 기록된 말씀을 믿게 될 자들이 많이 있을 것이며, 그들은 우리 자손의 남은 자들에게 그 말씀을 전할 것이라. | And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall believe the words which are written; and they shall carry them forth unto the remnant of our seed. |
| 니후 30:4 | 또 그때 우리 자손의 남은 자들이 우리에 관하여 알게 될 것이며, 어떻게 우리가 예루살렘에서 나왔는지와 그들이 유대인의 후손이라는 것을 알게 되리라. | And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we came out from Jerusalem, and that they are descendants of the Jews. |
| 니후 30:5 | 또 예수 그리스도의 복음이 그들 가운데 선포되리니, 이로 인하여 그들은 그들의 조상에 대한 지식과 또한 그들의 조상 가운데 있었던 예수 그리스도에 대한 지식으로 회복되리라. | And the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be declared among them; wherefore, they shall be restored unto the knowledge of their fathers, and also to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which was had among their fathers. |
| 니후 30:6 | 또 그때 그들이 기뻐하리니, 이는 이것이 하나님의 손에서 그들에게 주어지는 축복임을 그들이 알게 될 것임이라. 그리하여 그들의 어둠의 비늘이 그들의 눈에서 떨어지기 시작할 것이며, 그들 가운데 많은 세대가 지나지 아니하여 그들은 정결하고 기뻐하심을 입는 백성이 되리라. | And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a pure and a delightsome people. |
| 니후 30:7 | 또 이렇게 되리니 흩어진 유대인들도 그리스도를 믿기 시작할 것이요, 그리하여 그들이 그 땅 위에 모여들기 시작하리니, 그리스도를 믿는 자는 모두 또한 기뻐하심을 입는 백성이 되리라. | And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered also shall begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delightsome people. |
| 니후 30:8 | 또 이렇게 되리니 주 하나님께서 지상에 자기 백성을 회복하시기 위하여, 모든 나라와 족속과 방언과 백성 가운데서 그의 일을 시작하실 것이라. | And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth. |
| 니후 30:9 | 이에 주 하나님께서 의로써 가난한 자를 심판하시고, 땅의 온유한 자를 위하여 공평으로 책망하실 것이며, 또 그가 그 입의 막대기로 땅을 치실 것이며, 또 그 입술의 호흡으로 악인을 죽이시리라. | And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. |
| 니후 30:10 | 이는 주 하나님께서 백성들 가운데 큰 나뉨이 있게 하실 때가 속히 이름이니, 악인들을 그가 멸하실 것이요, 자기 백성은 그가 아끼시리니 참으로 불로써 악인들을 멸하셔야만 한다 할지라도 그리하시리라. | For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people, and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire. |
| 니후 30:11 | 또 의는 그 허리의 띠가 되며 성실은 그 몸의 띠가 되리라. | And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. |
| 니후 30:12 | 또 그때에 이리가 어린 양과 함께 거할 것이며, 표범이 어린 염소와 함께 누울 것이요, 송아지와 어린 사자와 살진 짐승이 함께 할 것이며, 어린아이가 그들을 인도할 것이라. | And then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf, and the young lion, and the fatling, together; and a little child shall lead them. |
| 니후 30:13 | 또 암소와 곰이 먹을 것이요, 그들의 어린 것들이 함께 누울 것이며, 사자가 소처럼 짚을 먹을 것이라. | And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. |
| 니후 30:14 | 젖 먹는 아이가 독사의 구멍에서 놀며, 젖 뗀 아이가 독사의 굴에 그 손을 댈 것이라. | And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den. |
| 니후 30:15 | 나의 거룩한 산 모든 곳에서 그들이 해하거나 멸하지 아니하리니, 이는 물이 바다를 덮음같이 주를 아는 지식이 땅에 충만하게 될 것임이니라. | They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. |
| 니후 30:16 | 그런즉 모든 나라의 일이 알려지리니, 참으로 모든 일이 사람의 자녀들에게 알려질 것이라. | Wherefore, the things of all nations shall be made known; yea, all things shall be made known unto the children of men. |
| 니후 30:17 | 은밀한 것이 드러나지 아니할 것이 없고, 어둠의 일이 빛 가운데 나타나지 아니할 것이 없으며, 땅 위에서 인봉된 것으로 풀리지 아니할 것이 없느니라. | There is nothing which is secret save it shall be revealed; there is no work of darkness save it shall be made manifest in the light; and there is nothing which is sealed upon the earth save it shall be loosed. |
| 니후 30:18 | 그런즉 사람의 자녀들에게 밝혀졌던 모든 것이 그 날에 밝혀질 것이며, 사탄이 오랫동안 더 이상 사람의 자녀들의 마음을 다스릴 권능을 갖지 못하리라. 이제 내 사랑하는 형제들아, 나의 말을 마치노라. | Wherefore, all things which have been revealed unto the children of men shall at that day be revealed; and Satan shall have power over the hearts of the children of men no more, for a long time. And now, my beloved brethren, I make an end of my sayings. |
