| 니후 20:1 | 불의한 법령을 공포하며 자기가 규정한 가혹함을 기록한 자에게 화 있을진저, | Wo unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; |
| 니후 20:2 | 그들은 궁핍한 자를 물리쳐 공평을 얻지 못하게 하며, 내 백성의 가난한 자에게서 권리를 박탈하여, 과부로 그들의 먹이가 되게 하며 고아의 것을 약탈하는도다. | To turn away the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! |
| 니후 20:3 | 너희는 벌하시는 날에와, 멀리서 오는 황폐 속에서 무엇을 하려느냐? 누구에게로 도망하여 도움을 구하려느냐? 또 너희의 영광을 어디에 두려느냐? | And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? |
| 니후 20:4 | 내가 함께 하지 아니한즉 그들이 갇힌 자의 아래에 절하며, 죽임을 당한 자의 아래에 엎드러지리라. 이 모든 것에도 불구하고 그의 노여움이 돌이켜지지 아니하였으되, 그의 손은 여전히 뻗어 있느니라. | Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. |
| 니후 20:5 | 오 나의 분노의 막대기 앗수르 사람이여, 그들의 손에 있는 몽둥이는 그들의 분노라. | O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is their indignation. |
| 니후 20:6 | 내가 그를 보내어 위선의 나라를 치게 하되, 내가 그에게 명령을 내려 나의 진노의 백성을 쳐서 탈취하며, 노략하며, 그들을 거리의 진흙같이 짓밟게 하리라. | I will send him against a hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. |
| 니후 20:7 | 그러하거늘 그의 뜻은 이 같지 아니하며, 그 마음의 생각도 이 같지 아니하고, 오히려 그 마음에 품은 생각은 적지 않은 나라를 멸하며 끊어 버리려 하는 것이라. | Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but in his heart it is to destroy and cut off nations not a few. |
| 니후 20:8 | 이는 그가 이르기를, 나의 방백들은 모두 다 왕이 아니냐? | For he saith: Are not my princes altogether kings? |
| 니후 20:9 | 갈로는 갈그미스와 같지 아니하냐? 하맛은 아르밧과 같지 아니하냐? 사마리아는 다메섹과 같지 아니하냐? | Is not Calno as Carchemish? Is not Hamath as Arpad? Is not Samaria as Damascus? |
| 니후 20:10 | 내 손이 우상들의 왕국들을 세웠고, 그들의 새긴 신상이 예루살렘과 사마리아의 그것보다 우세하였나니, | As my hand hath founded the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; |
| 니후 20:11 | 내가 사마리아와 그 신상들에게 행한 것같이, 예루살렘과 그 신상들에게 행하지 않겠느냐 함이라. | Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and to her idols? |
| 니후 20:12 | 그런즉 이렇게 되리라. 주께서 그의 일을 시온 산 위에와 예루살렘 위에 다 행하셨을 때, 내가 앗수르 왕의 완악한 마음의 열매와 그의 높은 눈의 영광을 벌하리니, | Wherefore it shall come to pass that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon Mount Zion and upon Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. |
| 니후 20:13 | 이는 그가 이르기를 , 내 손의 힘과 내 지혜로 나는 이 일들을 행하였나니, 이는 내가 총명함이라. 또 내가 백성의 경계를 옮겼고, 그들의 보화를 약탈하였으며, 또 내가 용감한 자같이 주민들을 굴복시켰으며, | For he saith: By the strength of my hand and by my wisdom I have done these things; for I am prudent; and I have moved the borders of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man; |
| 니후 20:14 | 또 나의 손이 백성들의 재물을 새의 보금자리같이 발견하였고, 사람이 버려진 알을 모음같이 내가 온 세계를 모았으나, 날개를 움직이거나, 입을 벌리거나, 지저귀는 것이 하나도 없었다 함이라. | And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people; and as one gathereth eggs that are left have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped. |
| 니후 20:15 | 도끼가 그것을 가지고 찍는 자에게 자기를 자랑하겠느냐? 톱이 그것을 켜는 자를 대하여 스스로 큰 체하겠느냐? 이는 마치 막대기가 그것을 치켜드는 자에게 스스로를 휘두르려 하거나, 마치 몽둥이가 나무가 아닌 듯 스스로를 들어올리려 함과 같도다. | Shall the ax boast itself against him that heweth therewith? Shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? As if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself as if it were no wood! |
| 니후 20:16 | 그러므로 주 만군의 주께서 그의 살진 자들 가운데 여윔을 보내실 것이요, 그의 영광의 아래에 불붙게 하사, 불이 타는 것같이 타게 하실 것이라. | Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, send among his fat ones, leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. |
| 니후 20:17 | 또 이스라엘의 빛은 불이 되고, 그의 거룩한 자는 불꽃이 되어 탈 것인즉, 하루 사이에 그의 가시와 그의 찔레를 삼킬 것이며, | And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame, and shall burn and shall devour his thorns and his briers in one day; |
| 니후 20:18 | 그의 삼림과 그의 기름진 밭의 영광을 영혼과 몸을 아울러 소멸하시리니, 그들이 기를 든 자가 실신할 때같이 되리라. | And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body; and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth. |
| 니후 20:19 | 또 그의 삼림의 나무의 나머지가 희소하여, 어린아이라도 능히 기록할 수 있으리라. | And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them. |
| 니후 20:20 | 또 그 날에 이렇게 되리니 이스라엘의 남은 자와 야곱 집의 도피한 자 같은 자들이 다시는 더 이상 그들을 친 자를 의지하지 아니하고, 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자 주를 진실히 의지하리라. | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them, but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. |
| 니후 20:21 | 남은 자 곧 야곱의 남은 자들이 능하신 하나님께로 돌아오리라. | The remnant shall return, yea, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. |
| 니후 20:22 | 이는 비록 네 백성 이스라엘이 바다의 모래 같을지라도, 그들의 남은 자가 돌아올 것임이니, 명하신 소멸이 의로 가득차게 할 것임이니라. | For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return; the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. |
| 니후 20:23 | 이는 주 만군의 하나님께서 실로 온 땅에 정해진 소멸을 행하실 것임이니라. | For the Lord God of Hosts shall make a consumption, even determined in all the land. |
| 니후 20:24 | 그러므로 이같이 주 만군의 하나님께서 이르시되, 시온에 거하는 나의 백성들아 앗수르인을 두려워 말라. 그가 애굽의 방식을 따라 막대기로 너를 치며 너를 대적하여 그의 몽둥이를 들리라. | Therefore, thus saith the Lord God of Hosts: O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian; he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. |
| 니후 20:25 | 대저 아주 잠깐 동안이면 분노가 그칠 것이요, 나의 노여움은 그들의 멸망 중에 그치리라 하시도다. | For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. |
| 니후 20:26 | 또 만군의 주께서 그를 칠 채찍을 흔들어 일으키시되, 오렙의 반석에서 미디안 사람을 살육하신 것처럼 하실 것이요, 그의 막대기가 바다 위에 있었던 것같이 그가 애굽의 방식을 따라 그것을 드실 것이라. | And the Lord of Hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb; and as his rod was upon the sea so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. |
| 니후 20:27 | 또 그 날에 이렇게 되리니, 그의 무거운 짐이 네 어깨에서 벗어지고 그의 멍에가 네 목에서 벗어질 것이며, 기름 부음으로 인하여 그 멍에가 부서지리라. | And it shall come to pass in that day that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. |
| 니후 20:28 | 그가 아얏에 이르렀고 지나서 미그론으로 갔으며, 믹마스에 그 수레를 멈추었도다. | He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages. |
| 니후 20:29 | 그들이 통로를 넘어 게바에 그 숙소를 잡았으니, 라맛은 두려워하고 사울의 기브아는 도망하였도다. | They are gone over the passage; they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramath is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled. |
| 니후 20:30 | 갈림의 딸이여, 목소리를 높일 지어다. 가련한 아나돗이여, 그것으로 라이사에게 들리게 할지어다. | Lift up the voice, O daughter of Gallim; cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. |
| 니후 20:31 | 맛메나는 옮기웠고 게빔의 주민은 도망하려고 서로 모이도다. | Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee. |
| 니후 20:32 | 아직은 그 날에 그가 놉에 머물 것이며, 그가 시온 딸의 산 예루살렘의 언덕에 대하여 그 손을 흔들리로다. | As yet shall he remain at Nob that day; he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. |
| 니후 20:33 | 보라, 주 곧 만군의 주께서 무섭게 가지를 자르시리니, 그 장대한 자들이 찍힐 것이요, 거만한 자가 낮아질 것이니라. | Behold, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts shall lop the bough with terror; and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down; and the haughty shall be humbled. |
| 니후 20:34 | 또 그가 쇠로 빽빽한 삼림을 베시리니, 레바논이 능한 자에 의하여 무너지리라. | And he shall cut down the thickets of the forests with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one. |
