| 니후 16:1 | 웃시야 왕이 죽던 해에 내가 또한 주께서 높고 들린 보좌 위에 앉으신 것을 보았는데, 그의 옷자락이 성전에 가득하더라. | In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. |
| 니후 16:2 | 그 위로는 스랍들이 섰는데 각기 여섯 날개가 있어, 둘로는 그 얼굴을 가리었고, 둘로는 그 발을 가리었고, 둘로는 날더라. | Above it stood the seraphim; each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. |
| 니후 16:3 | 또 서로 소리쳐 이르되, 거룩하다, 거룩하다, 거룩하다, 만군의 주여, 온 땅이 그 영광으로 충만하도다 하더라. | And one cried unto another, and said: Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of Hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory. |
| 니후 16:4 | 이에 소리치는 자의 음성에 문기둥이 움직이며, 집에 연기가 충만한지라. | And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. |
| 니후 16:5 | 그때에 내가 말하되, 내게 화 있도다! 이는 내가 망하게 되었음이라. 이는 내가 입술이 부정한 사람이요, 나는 입술이 부정한 백성 가운데 거함으로 인함이니, 이는 내 눈이 만군의 주이신 왕을 뵈었음이로다. | Then said I: Wo is unto me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips; and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts. |
| 니후 16:6 | 그때에 그 스랍의 하나가 집게로 제단에서 취한 바, 핀 숯 하나를 그 손에 가지고 내게로 날아와, | Then flew one of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar; |
| 니후 16:7 | 또 그것을 내 입에 놓으며, 이르되 보라, 이것이 네 입술에 닿았으니 네 죄악이 제하여졌고, 네 죄가 사하여졌느니라 하더라. | And he laid it upon my mouth, and said: Lo, this has touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. |
| 니후 16:8 | 또한 내가 주의 음성을 들었나니, 이르시되 내가 누구를 보내며 누가 우리를 위하여 갈꼬, 그때에 내가 이르되, 내가 여기 있나이다. 나를 보내소서 하였더라. | Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: Here am I; send me. |
| 니후 16:9 | 이에 그가 이르시되, 가서 이 백성에게 이르라 - 너희가 과연 듣거니와 그들이 깨닫지 못하였으며, 너희가 과연 보거니와 그들이 알지 못하였느니라 하더라. | And he said: Go and tell this people-Hear ye indeed, but they understood not; and see ye indeed, but they perceived not. |
| 니후 16:10 | 이 백성의 마음으로 둔하게 하며, 그들의 귀로 무디게 하고, 그들의 눈으로 감기게 하라. 염려컨대 그들이 그 눈으로 보고, 그 귀로 듣고, 그 마음으로 깨닫고, 돌이켜 고침을 받을까 하노라. | Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes-lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted and be healed. |
| 니후 16:11 | 그때에 내가 이르되, 주여, 어느 때까지니이까? 말씀하시되 성읍들이 황폐하여 주민이 없으며, 집들에는 사람이 없고, 이 땅이 온전히 황폐하게 되며, | Then said I: Lord, how long? And he said: Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate; |
| 니후 16:12 | 그리고 주께서 사람들을 멀리 옮겨 가셨을 때까지니, 이는 이 땅 가운데 큰 저버림이 있을 것임이니라. | And the Lord have removed men far away, for there shall be a great forsaking in the midst of the land. |
| 니후 16:13 | 그러나 그래도 십분의 일이 있어 그들이 돌아올 것이며, 그리고 보리수같이 또 상수리나무같이 먹힐 것이나, 그것들이 그 잎을 떨어뜨릴 때에도 그 본체는 그들 안에 있나니, 그와 같이 거룩한 씨가 그 본체가 되리라. | But yet there shall be a tenth, and they shall return, and shall be eaten, as a teil-tree, and as an oak whose substance is in them when they cast their leaves; so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof. |
