And now behold, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you; for I, Nephi, would not suffer that ye should suppose that ye are more righteous than the Gentiles shall be. For behold, except ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall all likewise perish; and because of the words which have been spoken ye need not suppose that the Gentiles are utterly destroyed. | 30:1.이제 보라 나의 사랑하는 형제들아, 나 니파이는 너희가 이방인들보다 의로우리라고 스스로 생각하지 못하도록 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 보라 너희가 하나님의 계명을 지키지 아니하면 모두 이방인들처럼 멸망 당할 것이요, 이미 너희가 들은 말로 인하여 이방인들이 완전히 멸망당한 것이라 생각지 말라. |
| 니후 30:2 | 이는 보라, 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 회개할 이방인들은 모두 주의 성약의 백성이며, 회개하지 아니할 유대인들은 모두 버림을 받을 것임이라. 이는 주께서는 회개하고 이스라엘의 거룩한 자인 그의 아들을 믿는 자들이 아니면 아무와도 성약하지 아니하심이니라. |

For behold, I say unto you that as many of the Gentiles as will repent are the covenant people of the Lord; and as many of the Jews as will not repent shall be cast off; for the Lord covenanteth with none save it be with them that repent and believe in his Son, who is the Holy One of Israel. | 30:2.보라 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 이방인일지라도 회개한다면 모두 주의 언약의 백성이 되며, 유대인 일지라도 회개하지 아니하면 버림을 당하리니, 주는 회개하고 그의 아들 곧 이스라엘의 거룩하신 이를 믿지 아니하는 자와는 언약을 맺지 아니 하심이라. |

And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall believe the words which are written; and they shall carry them forth unto the remnant of our seed. | 30:3.이제 유대인과 이방인들에 관하여 좀더 예언하려 하노라. 내가 이야기한 바 책이 세상에 나와 이방인들에게서 기록되어 주께 다시 인봉되고난 연후에, 많은 자들이 기록된 말을 믿게 될 것이며, 저들은 우리 자손의 잔류민들에게 그 기록을 전하리니, |
| 니후 30:4 | 또 그때 우리 자손의 남은 자들이 우리에 관하여 알게 될 것이며, 어떻게 우리가 예루살렘에서 나왔는지와 그들이 유대인의 후손이라는 것을 알게 되리라. |

And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we came out from Jerusalem, and that they are descendants of the Jews. | 30:4.우리 자손의 잔류민들이 우리에 관하여 알게 되며, 우리가 예루살렘을 떠난 경위를 알게 되고, 저들이 유대인의 후예임을 알게 될 것이요, |
| 니후 30:5 | 또 예수 그리스도의 복음이 그들 가운데 선포되리니, 이로 인하여 그들은 그들의 조상에 대한 지식과 또한 그들의 조상 가운데 있었던 예수 그리스도에 대한 지식으로 회복되리라. |

And the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be declared among them; wherefore, they shall be restored unto the knowledge of their fathers, and also to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which was had among their fathers. | 30:5.저들에게 예수 그리스도의 복음이 전파되며, 그로 인하여 저들은 조상에 관하여 알게 되고, 저들의 조상이 가졌던 예수 그리스도에 관한 지식이 다시 회복되리니, |
| 니후 30:6 | 또 그때 그들이 기뻐하리니, 이는 이것이 하나님의 손에서 그들에게 주어지는 축복임을 그들이 알게 될 것임이라. 그리하여 그들의 어둠의 비늘이 그들의 눈에서 떨어지기 시작할 것이며, 그들 가운데 많은 세대가 지나지 아니하여 그들은 정결하고 기뻐하심을 입는 백성이 되리라. |

And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a pure and a delightsome people. | 30:6.이것이 하나님께서 저들에게 내리시는 축복임을 알게 되어 기뻐할 것이요, 어둠의 비늘이 저들의 눈에서 걷히기 시작하며 여러 세대가 지나지 않아 저들은 빛깔이 희고 기쁨에 넘친 백성이 되며, |
| 니후 30:7 | 또 이렇게 되리니 흩어진 유대인들도 그리스도를 믿기 시작할 것이요, 그리하여 그들이 그 땅 위에 모여들기 시작하리니, 그리스도를 믿는 자는 모두 또한 기뻐하심을 입는 백성이 되리라. |

And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered also shall begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delightsome people. | 30:7.흩어졌던 유대인들도 그리스도를 믿기 시작하여 땅 위에 함께 모이기 시작하며, 그리스도를 믿는 자는 모두 사랑을 받는 백성이 될 것이요, |
| 니후 30:8 | 또 이렇게 되리니 주 하나님께서 지상에 자기 백성을 회복하시기 위하여, 모든 나라와 족속과 방언과 백성 가운데서 그의 일을 시작하실 것이라. |

And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth. | 30:8.주 하나님께서 주의 백성을 땅위에 회복하시려 온 나라와 족속과 방언의 민족과 백성들 가운데 주의 사업을 행하시기 시작하시리니, |
| 니후 30:9 | 이에 주 하나님께서 의로써 가난한 자를 심판하시고, 땅의 온유한 자를 위하여 공평으로 책망하실 것이며, 또 그가 그 입의 막대기로 땅을 치실 것이며, 또 그 입술의 호흡으로 악인을 죽이시리라. |

And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. | 30:9.주 하나님께서 의로써 가난한 자를 심판하시고 공평으로 땅의 온유한 자를 판단하시며 그의 입의 막대기로 땅을 치시며, 입술의 숨결로 간악한 자를 죽이시리라. |
| 니후 30:10 | 이는 주 하나님께서 백성들 가운데 큰 나뉨이 있게 하실 때가 속히 이름이니, 악인들을 그가 멸하실 것이요, 자기 백성은 그가 아끼시리니 참으로 불로써 악인들을 멸하셔야만 한다 할지라도 그리하시리라. |

For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people, and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire. | 30:10.주 하나님께서 백성들을 크게 나누실 때가 속히 임하리니, 주께서 간악한 자들을 멸하실 것이요, 간악한 자를 불로 멸하시는 때에라도 주의 백성은 구별하여 살리시리니, |
| 니후 30:11 | 또 의는 그 허리의 띠가 되며 성실은 그 몸의 띠가 되리라. |

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. | 30:11.의는 주의 허리의 띠가 되며 성실은 그의 몸의 띠가 되리라. |
| 니후 30:12 | 또 그때에 이리가 어린 양과 함께 거할 것이며, 표범이 어린 염소와 함께 누울 것이요, 송아지와 어린 사자와 살진 짐승이 함께 할 것이며, 어린아이가 그들을 인도할 것이라. |

And then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf, and the young lion, and the fatling, together; and a little child shall lead them. | 30:12.그때에 이리는 어린 양과 함께하며 표범의 새끼는 염소 새끼와 함께 누우며, 송아지와 어린 사자는 살진 가축과 함께하며, 어린 아이가 저들을 모두 몰아 인도하리라. |
| 니후 30:13 | 또 암소와 곰이 먹을 것이요, 그들의 어린 것들이 함께 누울 것이며, 사자가 소처럼 짚을 먹을 것이라. |

And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. | 30:13.암소와 곰이 함께 먹으며, 저들의 새끼는 함께 눕고, 사자가 황소처럼 짚을 먹을 것이요, |
| 니후 30:14 | 젖 먹는 아이가 독사의 구멍에서 놀며, 젖 뗀 아이가 독사의 굴에 그 손을 댈 것이라. |

And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den. | 30:14.젖빠는 어린이는 독사의 굴에서 놀며, 젖을 뗀 어린 아이는 독사의 굴에 손을 넣을 것이나, |
| 니후 30:15 | 나의 거룩한 산 모든 곳에서 그들이 해하거나 멸하지 아니하리니, 이는 물이 바다를 덮음같이 주를 아는 지식이 땅에 충만하게 될 것임이니라. |

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. 해하거나 : 해를 당하거나, 해되거나, 상하거나, 해를 입거나, 해를 받거나 사 11:9 내 거룩한 산 모든 곳에서 해 됨도 없고 상함도 없을 것이니 이는 물이 바다를 덮음 같이 여호와를 아는 지식이 세상에 충만할 것임이니라 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. 사 65:25 이리와 어린 양이 함께 먹을 것이며 사자가 소처럼 짚을 먹을 것이며 뱀은 흙을 양식으로 삼을 것이니 나의 성산에서는 해함도 없겠고 상함도 없으리라 여호와께서 말씀하시니라 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. 앨 14:28 상하지 아니하였으니, and they were not hurt ; 몰 9:24 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 입지 아니하며 and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; 교성 84:71 해를 받지 아니할 것이요, it shall not hurt them; |
30:15.나의 거룩한 산에서는 저들이 상하거나 다치지 아니하리니, 바다물이 가득하듯 주의 가르치심이 세상에 가득함이라. |
| 니후 30:16 | 그런즉 모든 나라의 일이 알려지리니, 참으로 모든 일이 사람의 자녀들에게 알려질 것이라. |

Wherefore, the things of all nations shall be made known; yea, all things shall be made known unto the children of men. | 30:16.그러므로 모든 나라의 일이 세상에 알려질 것이요, 모든 일이 인간들에게 알려질 것이매, |
| 니후 30:17 | 은밀한 것이 드러나지 아니할 것이 없고, 어둠의 일이 빛 가운데 나타나지 아니할 것이 없으며, 땅 위에서 인봉된 것으로 풀리지 아니할 것이 없느니라. |

There is nothing which is secret save it shall be revealed; there is no work of darkness save it shall be made manifest in the light; and there is nothing which is sealed upon the earth save it shall be loosed. | 30:17.은밀한 것이 드러나지 아니 할 것이 없고, 암흑의 역사가 빛 가운데 드러나지 아니할 것이 없으며, 세상위에 인봉된 것으로 풀리지 아니할 것이 없느니라. |
| 니후 30:18 | 그런즉 사람의 자녀들에게 밝혀졌던 모든 것이 그 날에 밝혀질 것이며, 사탄이 오랫동안 더 이상 사람의 자녀들의 마음을 다스릴 권능을 갖지 못하리라. 이제 내 사랑하는 형제들아, 나의 말을 마치노라. |

Wherefore, all things which have been revealed unto the children of men shall at that day be revealed; and Satan shall have power over the hearts of the children of men no more, for a long time. And now, my beloved brethren, I make an end of my sayings. | 30:18.그러므로 세상 사람들에게 이미 드러난 모든 것이 그날에 알려지며 오래도록 사탄의 권세가 다시는 인간의 마음을 사로잡지 못할 것이라. 나의 사랑하는 형제들아 나의 말을 끝맺노라. |
