| 소개 | 1830년 10월 선지자 조셉 스미스를 통하여 팔리 피 프랫과 지바 피터슨에게 주신 계시(교회사 1:118~120). 교회 회원들이 몰몬경에서 레이맨인에 대해 예언된 축복을 알게 되었으므로, 장로들은 레이맨인들에 대해 지대한 관심과 소망을 느끼고 있었다. 이에 따라 그때 장로들을 서부에 있는 인디언 부족에게 파송하여야 할 것인가에 대해 주께서 그 뜻을 알려 주실 것을 간구하게 되었다. 이 계시가 뒤따랐다. | Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet to Parley P. Great interest and desires were felt by the elders respecting the Lamanites, of whose predicted blessings the Church had learned from the Book of Mormon. In consequence, supplication was made that the Lord would indicate his will as to whether elders should be sent at that time to the Indian tribes in the West. The revelation followed. |

| 교성 32:3 | 그리고 지바 피터슨도 또한 그들과 함께 갈지니, 나도 친히 그들과 함께 갈 것이요, 그들 가운데 있으리라. 또 나는 아버지께 대한 그들의 변호자니, 아무 것도 그들을 이기지 못하리라. | And Ziba Peterson also shall go with them; and I myself will go with them and be in their midst; and I am their advocate with the Father, and nothing shall prevail against them. |
| 교성 32:4 | 또 그들은 기록된 바에 주의를 기울이고, 다른 아무 계시도 주장하지 말 것이요, 그들이 이해할 수 있도록 내가 그러한 것을 펼쳐 줄 것을 항상 기도할지니라. | And they shall give heed to that which is written, and pretend to no other revelation; and they shall pray always that I may unfold the same to their understanding. |
