And even unto the great and last day, when all people, and all kindreds, and all nations and tongues shall stand before God, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil- | 26:4.선악 간에 만백성 곧 모든 백성과 나라와 방언의 족속이 그 행한 대로 하나님 앞에 서서 심판받게 될 일 까지라. |

If they be good, to the resurrection of everlasting life; and if they be evil, to the resurrection of damnation; being on a parallel, the one on the one hand and the other on the other hand, according to the mercy, and the justice, and the holiness which is in Christ, who was before the world began. | 26:5.만일 그 행함이 의로웠으면 영원한 생명의 부활에 참여할 것이요, 악하였으면 저주의 부활에 임하리니, 세상이 있기 전부터 계셨던 그리스도의 자비와 공의와 거룩하심에 좇아 한편에는 영생이요, 다른 편에는 저주가 있어 서로 대응하느니라. |

And these things have I written, which are a lesser part of the things which he taught the people; and I have written them to the intent that they may be brought again unto this people, from the Gentiles, according to the words which Jesus hath spoken. | 26:8.나는 다만 예수께서 백성들에게 가르치신 적은 부분을 기록하였으니 예수께서 말씀하신 대로 이러한 것들이 이방인들에게서 나아와 이 백성들에게 전해지게 하려 함이라. |

And when they shall have received this, which is expedient that they should have first, to try their faith, and if it shall so be that they shall believe these things then shall the greater things be made manifest unto them. | 26:9.이제 저들이 이를 받으매 먼저 이것으로 저들의 신앙을 시험하기에 족하며, 저들이 이것들을 믿을진대 더욱 위대한 일들이 저들에게 전해질 것이로되, |

And if it so be that they will not believe these things, then shall the greater things be withheld from them, unto their condemnation. | 26:10.저들이 이를 믿지 아니하면 더욱 위대한 일들이 저들에게 전해지지 아니하여 마침내 정죄를 받게 되리라. |

Behold, I was about to write them, all which were engraven upon the plates of Nephi, but the Lord forbade it, saying: I will try the faith of my people. | 26:11.보라 내가 니파이의 판에 새겨진 모두를 기록하려 하였으나, 주께서 이를 금하시며 이르시기를, 내가 내 백성들의 신앙을 시험하리로다 하신지라. |

Therefore, I would that ye should behold that the Lord truly did teach the people, for the space of three days; and after that he did show himself unto them oft, and did break bread oft, and bless it, and give it unto them. | 26:13.나는 예수께서 사흘동안 친히 백성들을 가르치셨고 저들에게 자주 나타내어 보이시고 나서 빵을 떼어 축복하신 후 저들에게 나누어 주셨음을 너희가 알기 바라노라. |

And it came to pass that he did teach and minister unto the children of the multitude of whom hath been spoken, and he did loose their tongues, and they did speak unto their fathers great and marvelous things, even greater than he had revealed unto the people; and he loosed their tongues that they could utter. | 26:14.또한 이미 이야기한 바, 예수께서 무리의 자녀들을 가르치시며 은총을 베푸시고 저들의 혀를 풀어주신지라, 저들이 그 부모들에게 크고 놀라운 일들을 이야기하니 예수께서 백성들에게 예언하신 것보다 더욱 위대한 것들이라. 예수께서 저들의 혀를 풀어 주시어 이야기할 수 있게 하시니라. |

And it came to pass that after he had ascended into heaven-the second time that he showed himself unto them, and had gone unto the Father, after having healed all their sick, and their lame, and opened the eyes of their blind and unstopped the ears of the deaf, and even had done all manner of cures among them, and raised a man from the dead, and had shown forth his power unto them, and had ascended unto the Father- | 26:15.예수께서 승천하시고 나서, 즉 두번째로 저들에게 친히 나타내어 보이신 후에 모든 병자와 절름발이를 고치시며 소경의 눈을 뜨게 하시며 귀머거리의 귀를 듣게 하시고 온갖 질병을 낫게 하시며 죽은 자를 죽음에서 살리시는 등 저들에게 그의 권세를 보이시고 나서 승천하여 아버지께로 돌아 가신 후에, |

Behold, it came to pass on the morrow that the multitude gathered themselves together, and they both saw and heard these children; yea, even babes did open their mouths and utter marvelous things; and the things which they did utter were forbidden that there should not any man write them. | 26:16.보라 다음 날 무리가 함께 모여 어린 아이들이 이야기함을 친히 보고 들었으며, 유아들까지 입을 열어 놀라운 일을 하였으되 아무도 저들의 이야기를 기록하지 못하도록 금하시었더라. |
| 3니 26:17 | 또 이렇게 되었나니 예수께서 택하신 제자들이 그때로부터 시작하여 무릇 그들에게로 나아오는 자들에게 다 침례를 베풀며 가르치니, 예수의 이름으로 침례를 받은 자들은 모두 성신으로 충만하게 되니라. |

And it came to pass that the disciples whom Jesus had chosen began from that time forth to baptize and to teach as many as did come unto them; and as many as were baptized in the name of Jesus were filled with the Holy Ghost. | 26:17.그때로부터 예수께서 택하신 제자들이 나아가 저들에게로 나오는 자들을 모두 가르치며 저들을 침례하였고, 예수의 이름으로 침례를 받은 자들은 모두 성신으로 충만하여졌느니라. |

And many of them saw and heard unspeakable things, which are not lawful to be written. | 26:18.그리하여 많은 자들이 말로 표현할 수 없는 것들을 보고 들었으며 이러한 것들을 기록함이 합당하지 않았더라. |

And they taught, and did minister one to another; and they had all things common among them, every man dealing justly, one with another. | 26:19.제자들은 나아가 저들을 낱낱이 가르치며 은총을 베풀었고, 저들은 모든 것을 공유하였으니 저마다 서로 바르게 행하였음이라. |

And it came to pass that they did do all things even as Jesus had commanded them. | 26:20.또한 저들은 예수께서 명하신 대로 범사를 행하였고, |

And they who were baptized in the name of Jesus were called the church of Christ. | 26:21.예수의 이름으로 침례를 받은 무리는 그리스도의 교회라 일컬어지더라. |
