| 시 38:1 | 여호와여 주의 노하심으로 나를 책망하지 마시고 주의 분노하심으로 나를 징계하지 마소서 | O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. |
| 시 38:2 | 주의 화살이 나를 찌르고 주의 손이 나를 심히 누르시나이다 | For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore. |
| 시 38:3 | 주의 진노로 말미암아 내 살에 성한 곳이 없사오며 나의 죄로 말미암아 내 뼈에 평안함이 없나이다 | There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. |
| 시 38:4 | 내 죄악이 내 머리에 넘쳐서 무거운 짐 같으니 내가 감당할 수 없나이다 | For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. |
| 시 38:5 | 내 상처가 썩어 악취가 나오니 내가 우매한 까닭이로소이다 | My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. |
| 시 38:6 | 내가 아프고 심히 구부러졌으며 종일토록 슬픔 중에 다니나이다 | I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. |
| 시 38:7 | 내 허리에 열기가 가득하고 내 살에 성한 곳이 없나이다 | For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh. |
| 시 38:8 | 내가 피곤하고 심히 상하였으매 마음이 불안하여 신음하나이다 | I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart. |
| 시 38:9 | 주여 나의 모든 소원이 주 앞에 있사오며 나의 탄식이 주 앞에 감추이지 아니하나이다 | Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. |
| 시 38:10 | 내 심장이 뛰고 내 기력이 쇠하여 내 눈의 빛도 나를 떠났나이다 | My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me. |
| 시 38:11 | 내가 사랑하는 자와 내 친구들이 내 상처를 멀리하고 내 친척들도 멀리 섰나이다 | My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off. |
| 시 38:12 | 내 생명을 찾는 자가 올무를 놓고 나를 해하려는 자가 괴악한 일을 말하여 종일토록 음모를 꾸미오나 | They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long. |
| 시 38:13 | 나는 못 듣는 자 같이 듣지 아니하고 말 못하는 자 같이 입을 열지 아니하오니 | But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth. |
| 시 38:14 | 나는 듣지 못하는 자 같아서 내 입에는 반박할 말이 없나이다 | Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs. |
| 시 38:15 | 여호와여 내가 주를 바랐사오니 내 주 하나님이 내게 응답하시리이다 | For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God. |
| 시 38:16 | 내가 말하기를 두렵건대 그들이 나 때문에 기뻐하며 내가 실족할 때에 나를 향하여 스스로 교만할까 하였나이다 | For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me. |
| 시 38:17 | 내가 넘어지게 되었고 나의 근심이 항상 내 앞에 있사오니 | For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me. |
| 시 38:18 | 내 죄악을 아뢰고 내 죄를 슬퍼함이니이다 | For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. |
| 시 38:19 | 내 원수가 활발하며 강하고 부당하게 나를 미워하는 자가 많으며 | But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied. |
| 시 38:20 | 또 악으로 선을 대신하는 자들이 내가 선을 따른다는 것 때문에 나를 대적하나이다 | They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is. |
| 시 38:21 | 여호와여 나를 버리지 마소서 나의 하나님이여 나를 멀리하지 마소서 | Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me. |
| 시 38:22 | 속히 나를 도우소서 주 나의 구원이시여 | Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation. |
