| 시 56:1 | 하나님이여 내게 은혜를 베푸소서 사람이 나를 삼키려고 종일 치며 압제하나이다 | Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. |
| 시 56:2 | 내 원수가 종일 나를 삼키려 하며 나를 교만하게 치는 자들이 많사오니 | Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High. |
| 시 56:3 | 내가 두려워하는 날에는 내가 주를 의지하리이다 | What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. |
| 시 56:4 | 내가 하나님을 의지하고 그 말씀을 찬송하올지라 내가 하나님을 의지하였은즉 두려워하지 아니하리니 혈육을 가진 사람이 내게 어찌하리이까 | In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. |
| 시 56:5 | 그들이 종일 내 말을 곡해하며 나를 치는 그들의 모든 생각은 사악이라 | Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil. |
| 시 56:6 | 그들이 내 생명을 엿보았던 것과 같이 또 모여 숨어 내 발자취를 지켜보나이다 | They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul. |
| 시 56:7 | 그들이 악을 행하고야 안전하오리이까 하나님이여 분노하사 뭇 백성을 낮추소서 | Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God. |
| 시 56:8 | 나의 유리함을 주께서 계수하셨사오니 나의 눈물을 주의 병에 담으소서 이것이 주의 책에 기록되지 아니하였나이까 | Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? |
| 시 56:9 | 내가 아뢰는 날에 내 원수들이 물러가리니 이것으로 하나님이 내 편이심을 내가 아나이다 | When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me. |
| 시 56:10 | 내가 하나님을 의지하여 그의 말씀을 찬송하며 여호와를 의지하여 그의 말씀을 찬송하리이다 | In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word. |
| 시 56:11 | 내가 하나님을 의지하였은즉 두려워하지 아니하리니 사람이 내게 어찌하리이까 | In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. |
| 시 56:12 | 하나님이여 내가 주께 서원함이 있사온즉 내가 감사제를 주께 드리리니 | Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee. |
| 시 56:13 | 주께서 내 생명을 사망에서 건지셨음이라 주께서 나로 하나님 앞, 생명의 빛에 다니게 하시려고 실족하지 아니하게 하지 아니하셨나이까 | For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living? |
